States with hurricane damage worth over 50 billion since 2000

The three worst hurricanes in history hit there? Storm surge is yellow and did the most damage for those storms, flooding is red and the most damage for that storm. Damage as defined in this comment as losses to life, property, crops, livestock, infrastructure.

How is North Carolina a bad state 🤔

1

u/SulSul-DagDag 21h ago

Cicadas, alligators

1

u/acountnumber58 21h ago

I can tell you’re not from the south… alligators are not a huge problem in NC and if you’re from the south cicadas are just background noise you tune out. I do understand if you’re not used to it hearing cicadas drone on the entire summer would be quite annoying.

I’m not from the south, but I’m a hairdresser and have a client that travels to me from NC. She has so many cicadas in her yard that all she sees is holes in the ground. She wears a mask outside.

I promise it’s not that bad everywhere 😭. It probably has to do with her specific area or something with her lawn

Alligators and abbortion?

Racism?

It’s gotta be racism, right?

u/political-prick 1d ago

Bro you think there would be a list of racist states that didn’t include Bama or Mississippi?

1

u/JasonDomber 1d ago

I mean, I was clearly trolling.

But also, good point.

Florida isn’t that racist especially compared to Alabama. Hella Cubans live in Florida and get along well.
