Advice (NO MEDICAL ADVICE) Showering after surgery advice

This is my second post today so apologies but I’m 5 days away from surgery and I have a lot of questions.

A big concern of mine is showering. How do I shower? I have a tub/shower combo and part of the shower head is detachable but it’s high up. I live with my parents but I don’t have that close of a relationship with my mom to allow her to help me shower so I’ll be doing this alone. I’m scared I’m gonna hurt myself or faint. I don’t want to pull my incisions and I’m also getting side lipo which I heard can make things harder.

It doesn’t help I’m already scared of showers to begin with. A few years ago I slipped and fell in a shower and badly broke my arm and had to have surgery. Emt said if I had fallen any farther back I would’ve cracked my head on the tile wall. So now I take baths and only shower when a bath isn’t available.

When I had my arm surgery I did it by myself. I took baths and just rested my bandaged arm on a step stool with a towel that was next to the tub and just used one hand to wash everything but obviously this situation is different.
