Going for the jugular with the last image lol (and you’re right to say it)

I am still upset we don't have a vanilla/DLC implementation of vehicles, and I'll continue to make that known. Odyssey is a great DLC though (albeit lacking in some areas...)

I didn’t realize how much i wanted to do an easy nomadic tribal play through with the ease of map traversal the grav ship brings until I saw this comic :(

The vehicles are so broken in the mod, it probably scared them away from it

Eh. I still feel like psycasts in Royalty were more or less someone at Ludeon looking at A Rimworld of Magic and saying, "That's a lot of fun. Let's do our own take, but more in tune with our setting and a lot less broken." Same story with Humanoid Alien Races and xenotypes from Biotech.

They could easily do their own take and scale it down if they wanted to. Or they could eliminate vehicle-mounted weapons, the same way they did spaceship weapons & combat in Odyssey when adapting Save Our Ship 2.

I'm right there with you. The new biomes, animals, and points of interest are all great, but the space stuff is slapdash at best.

I'll die on the hill of gloom forests kinda sucking. The lack of medicine is so annoying and the fact timbershrooms give so little wood, and boomshrooms giving too little fuel is just too much for me. Top it off with being unable to grow medicine it pushes into the annoying category for me, you can at least still grow herbal medicine on almost any other biome even if it is doesn't grow wild like even extreme deserts.

I just don't see any benefit aside from RP and the ease of getting enough wild food to feed a moderately sized colony passively due to the sheer amount of wild edible shrooms.

The thing I hate the most however is the lack of mountains in the forests. The only exception being if you a landmark forces a mountain to spawn on a gloomforest tile and they are exceptionally rare, the last time I looked for one I couldn't find one on the entire 100% spawned world and I think they may've patched those out.
