Ah yes the cadaver opening, it is actually perfectly legal you should totally perform this opening at a chess tourney.

Unfortunately a pawn can only move up, so taking out the enemy pawn is an illegal move.

It's just sacrificing a pawn. It's a very common thing that happens all the time in chess. Totally legit, no clue why it's even being questioned. ;)

She got scaria and chased someone around outside in a snowstorm completely naked for a few hours then died of frostbite (and a few very very minor gunshot wounds) but hey she could be alive? Maybe?

Since we are on a Rimworld, the rules clearly state:

"If the player can't move a piece in the allotted time due to a Mental Break, a Raid, cosmic Horrors, the Mech Hive arrival or their sudden death, they will loose the Game."

So I would say Kieran won against his opponent.

While frowned upon, killing your opponent in a game of chess means they are unable to make any moves, and thus, they forfeit the game which makes you the winner.

Should anyone disagree that this is a winning strategy, simply kill them as well to ensure you remain victorious!

I don't this it is legal to murder your chess opponent... I would imagine that is illegal and would get you disqualified. You should try winning some other way.
