I am actually tired of constantly dealing with broken pawns suffering with injuries or sadness due to loss, I've changed my main save into peaceful mode just to chill, build and have quiet fun and to expandmy already massive colony;

Am I wrong for this? does this make me a killjoy? Is there anyone else out there who does the same at some point? Yes or No - what are your thoughts?

Edit: I have 400 hours in the game, I can deal with raids and mechanoids, I just want to have a chill time when I play rimworld atm

Well, not in his full glory, since going solo requires A LOT of upgrades, all for a single character. Later, he became a typical overloaded psycaster god, which is kinda boring, so I illustrated him (in his most interesting state?).

I didn't want to work on a strong logical background story, as I wanted it to be interesting for me and somewhat lore-friendly. So, the main idea is that the original Max Strasse was a secret military scientist responsible for various research projects, including archotechnologies. He was in charge of a particular archotech engine that, in theory, worked similarly to the one that created sanguophages. However, instead of turning people into superhumans, the engine created a wave of archites that started spreading a very lethal genetic disease, which soon went out of control.

Aware of the consequences, Max had no other way out than to escape alone in his mobile research facility. Although he was affected as well and was on the verge of a painful death, he refused to give up on everything he had done. He started cloning himself so that his clones could proceed with searching for a cure even after his death. A lot of time has passed. The original Max Strasse was long gone, as were generations of clones that kept the cycle of cloning, living short lives dedicated to research, and dying horribly. Still, no cure was found.

It could have been going on for who knows how long, if not for one strange accident. During a restock on a distant planet, a blinding beam of energy reached out and tore the mobile facility to pieces. The illustrated clone is the only survivor out of 150+ other clones. It's not like the crashlanding was very harsh; the beam itself turned every single clone except him into rabid flesh-mass creatures. Perhaps something of an inhuman nature has plans for him and wanted him to get closer...

As you can see, his age in brackets doesnt match what you would expect from vatgrown clone that is supposed to die in a few years. Its made like that due to the fact that every generation inherits all memories from the previous, so that acts more as his mental age. No cryptosleep involved, as it was prohibited. Original Max knew it will burden facility with useless sleeping clones.

I think that this will work out into something like short parts of his life on this planet, some funny, some not, but please, dont expect regular quality comics from me, I draw rarely and Im no match for some prominent artists out here. + Due to the rules about memes I may find it problematic to post on r/Rimworld , so there will be something related on r/SpaceCannibalism .

Almost 7.5 years in game i think this is my best colony so far. Now i'm asking for some advices about changes or new things that Ican add to this colony.

ps. i don't play with mods this is all vanilla rimworld with all the DLCs

R6: I built a gravship with the bare minimum components, landed, yeeted the sphere and dissasembled the ship to load it into the shuttle and escape.
