Long-time Roku user/subscriber here... We've got a mess of the "regular" channels (Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, BritBox, even Paramount+... and Disney+ and Hulu). No cable or satellite. No broadcast stations.
We don't watch sports much at all. But in a few weeks we'll have family staying with us which will definitely want -- need -- to watch, who knows, college football, soccer, pro football, baseball, pretty much name it, it's on their radar. So I figured I can just add a channel here and there on a trial basis ahead of time so they can get their fix.
We never bundled any of our existing channels through the major front ends, just added them one at a time. So we've got separate Hulu and Disney+ accounts, say: if we want to watch Hulu, we just select that channel, don't go through the Disney+ portal. I see that the latter has an option to add "ESPN Everything" or whatever it's called, but it seems that's got to be part of a package deal with Hulu in the mix too?
Advice? Thanks in advance!
EDIT TO ADD: I see a similar question from just a few days ago. But we have AT&T Fiber, not Spectrum, so we can't subscribe through our ISP.
