Book Request LF MMCs who lose their minds after they have sex with the FMC for the first time

I’m backkkk 🙂 alrighty so I’m helping out a friend on her quest for books with a very specifc trope…micro trope, idk. She’s looking for books with a commitment-phobe, manwhore MMC who is adamant that he will never settle down. He meets the FMC and he likes her, everything’s fine and he’s confused as to why he’s so into her but just writes it off as him liking the chase of a reluctant FMC (not in a slimeball way but like the FMC is playing hard to get way). Anyways, the FMC finally gives in and they finally have sex then BOOM suddenly this man is seeing his wholeeeee future: LOVE, wife, white picket fence, kids, family vacation, etc. and he essentially loses his fucking mind, doesn’t know who he is anymore. Anddd the FMC is just like ohhhkayyyyy, relax my guy, it was just sex😬🫠 so there, looking for recommendations with the MMC becoming obsessed AFTER sex with the FMC, it’s important that he actually likes her just beyond the chase but he just thinks he’ll be back to normal afterwards…WRONG 😌

Cesar De Lucci is absolutely a good guy, though he lives in a morally grey world. His romance with Ava, set in the 90s, is the first book, De Lucci's Obsession. The rest of the series jumps ahead to contemporary times and focuses on their children.

I can't say for sure how much Italian is included, but the mafia part isn't glamorized in any way so I think they're great books for those unfamiliar with the genre. Scorned Vows takes place partly in Italy so it's the most likely one to have some Italian dialogue.

Got two recs that sort of? Fill one of your criteria, but read the synopsis and see if you’re into it :)

First one is {Disorderly Conduct by Tessa Bailey} Charlie and Ever’s chemistry is palpable. They are dynamite from the first pages of the book. The premise is simple, but oh so delicious: Both Charlie and Ever are commitment-phobes, so they engage in a hot as hell, sex only, no strings attached relationship. But when Ever freaks about being alone for the rest of her life, she breaks it up with a very shocked Charlie. It’s obvious from the beginning that Charlie is already in love (and obsessed) with Ever and I DIG THAT SH*T. His plans to ruin her dates are hilarious. Very well written. Great dialogues. Charlie’s sheer longing for Ever is palpable, and delicious. I freaking loved every second of him missing her (and there’s LOTS OF IT)

The second one is {Veils by Brynne Asher} I was looking for a one night stand where the guy just couldn’t let go, and found this recommendation. Boy did it deliver… Noah is instantly likable. Though serious and not very forthcoming, he’s a consent king, and it’s so hot. We see all the time the “jaded alpha male with baggage”, but Asher manages to convey authenticity and he feels like a real, layered man, with such raw magnetism… Noah Jarvis has just entered my list of unforgettable MMCs. After their one night stand, Noah literally chases Gracie across the globe.
