Rescheduled flight error

Hey guys, about 3 months ago I booked a flight from Edinburgh to Vienna on the 11th Jan 2026. Then about 1 month ago I got an email saying it was cancelled and to reschedule, when I clicked the link to reschedule it immediately brought me to the 11th and I clicked a time a couple hours later than the original, no problem. I’ve now come to realise the rescheduled date it in 3 days (11th of September 2025). I’m pretty mad the first date they would bring you to on the reschedule page is 4 months earlier than your original one, but I understand I should have been more careful in rescheduling. What are my chances of rescheduling now? What should I do to try and reschedule again and/or get a refund?

The chance is very low. You rescheduled it already, so there is no second chance of rescheduling, i guess..

Normally you can make some changes to your booking within the first 24h by talking with support. Maybe is also the case with this rescheduling, give it a try

"The airline must offer you, on a one off basis, a choice between:

•the reimbursement of your ticket and, if you have a connecting flight, a return flight to the airport of departure at the earliest opportunity

•re-routing to your final destination at the earliest opportunity or,

•re-routing at a later date at your convenience under comparable transport conditions, subject to the availability of seats.

As soon as you have chosen one of these three options, you no longer have rights in relation to the other two options."

There is an outside chance that you can change it because you're within 24 hours of (re)booking but the 24-hour grace period generally is for making mistakes in your original booking and does not apply to changing flights after they have been booked.

After the 24-hour window, Ryanair's standard change fees and fare differences will apply.

If they don't allow a free change, then you might be cheaper to abandon your original rescheduled booking and make a new reservation.
