Watching Salsa Videos

Would anyone recommend I watch salsa videos of people social dancing to get better as an intermediate follower? Does it help to get a better sense of different patterns?

I do this a lot (as a lead) and I always try to break down the combos in their single moves- helps a lot with learning!

What really helps is trying to learn a pattern they are doing. This means rewatching some short part over and over and trying it out.
