Àteru Cheapest way from Olbia Airport to Orosei

Hello! I'm travelling to Orosei in a few days and am trying to figure out how I can get from the airport to my hotel in Orosei. Looking at the taxi hire companies online they all say about €200 for the 1 hour drive! I had a look at the public bus service too, but taking the bus turns that 1 hour journey into a 4 hour one!

TLDR: How can I get from Olbia Airport to Orosei without spending hundreds and without the journey taking hours?

Any taxi company/shuttle service recommendations would be very appreciated!!

Thanks x

Oh really? Okay good to know, I felt like I was maybe being ripped off online. At least now I know that this is roughly a typical price! Thank you x

Taxi drivers are scumbags here, that’s an honest price, trust me.

Ooh that's a good idea! How easy is it to drive around in that part of Sardinia? (I'm from England for context if that helps haha)

It’s just like driving in England only on the other side of the road , they do love to tailgate tho, but don’t take it personally 👍

It’s plenty of companies that do this service. Try search “Orosei taxi” on Google. A local company from Orosei could be cheaper. Try for example “Cabiddu taxi Orosei” (local company).

1h by taxi/car, 4 hours by public transport, 5 hours by bike if you're fit enough.

Or you could try blablacar or hitchhiking
