Cunversatzione Olbia to Palau bus

Hi, does anyone have any recent experience getting the bus from Olbia to Palau?

I keep seeing talk about how bad the public transport is, but this is the only part of our trip we really might need a car (however our hotel doesn’t have parking) so I wanted to know if anyone has recently successfully this bus trip or has any tips? We’ll be going mid September

Spend a week last October Olbia - Palau - Olbia by bus and it's fine! Just show up to the correct bus near Corso Vittorio outside the train station. Just make sure your on time as they're not that frequent.
