Pregonta 8 day itinerary for couple seeking local, chill holiday
Hi! I’m planning an 8 day trip to Sardinia in early October with my partner and would love some direction for where to base ourselves.
We much prefer small local towns and enclaves to big cities. We’ll have a car but being in a nice town where we can stroll back home after eating would be nice. Under 20 min drive to the coast is essential. Thinking of Bosa or Arbatax but open to ideas! 🙏🏼

I personally love Alghero. Fantastic restaurants and beautiful sunsets, nice beaches are also really close.

Highly recommend you go to the main page of this group and type a search word like “itinerary” in the search tab at the top of the page. A lot of people posts questions asking for itinerary help and there are an equal amount of informative suggestions from knowledgeable members of this group. We were in Sardinia last September for 2 weeks and nearly planned the entire trip from the search function. You can also type “Bosa”, “Arbatax”, “Cala Gonone”, “Orosei”, “San Teodoro”, “Santa Teresa Gallura”, “La Maddalena”, or any other search word that interests you. And you can compare those searches to what you receive here.

San Pantaleo fits the bill. Or Posada. Or Cabras. Or Dorgali, if you enjoy hiking as well as beaches.
Bosa is nice, but 8 days is a bit much, the beaches are not that amazing.
