Pregonta A bodyboard for rent/buy near Tortoli-Tertenia (or a dog swim suit)

Post image

Hi all. Very long shot here. We are going on a boat trip on Thursday. We have a dog. And we may want to have the dog with us when we visit caves or rocky shores (we know we’re not allowed on beaches) She’s ok swimming but we are afraid she may get tired. (We forgot her life jacket) So here is where you could maybe help. We are looking to buy (or rent) a body board that we could put her on top. Or alternatively if anyone has a dog life jacket size s-m (she’s 10kg) We are in Tertenia so anywhere up to Tortoli. We could pick up tomorrow and return Thursday end of day. Please pm me if you have any idea where to get that. Thanks

Pregonta Trip in Sardinia

Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I will spend about 11 days in Sardinia and I thought about arriving in Olbia, spend about two days in Maddalena, then Tavolara and around, and then go south to Villasimius, Cagliari, Capo Carbonara...

I was wandering if it's absolutely worth it passing by Orosei and the Grotta del Blu marino etc, or if it's better to stay a bit longer in one of the other places instead.

How long would you recommand in each places?

Grazie!

Per chi chi ci è stato, com’è l’esperienza specificatamente in quanto a acquisto e vendita di videogiochi e console? Se uno si trova ad Olbia vale la pena passarci ed eventualmente anche portarsi dietro il proprio usato?

Pregonta Quick trip mid-October

My boyfriend and I will be visiting in Mid-October, most likely for 3 days, before I head to Florence to see my sister who is studying abroad there. We are planning to fly into and base ourselves in Cagliari.

If you only had a short time in that area, what are your 10/10 recommendations? Open to anything from hotels, foods, beaches, scenic spots, bars…I know it’s a very short visit but we want to make the most of it.

Thanks!

Pregonta Multi pitch climbing topos

Maybe a long shot but my wife and I will be in Sardinia in November staying in the south west around domusnovas.

We’ve been there before and always used the pietra di Luna topo for sport climbing

This year however we want to do some easy multi pitch climbs (4,5 French grade) and I’m wondering where I can find some topos or some info on this

Thanks

Pregonta 1 week in Sardinia with kids

Hello! We are planning a week in Sardinia in late June. We will be 2 families with kids age 1-5. Accessible beaches are the main priority but would also like a bit of nightlife (we are bringing a nanny). I am so overwhelmed by the size of the island so I have no idea where to begin! We are happy to stay in a resort or perhaps get some Airbnbs. Any advice would be appreciated :)

Cunversatzione "Use It Or Lose It" Language Question: What About Sharing Accessible Educational Linguistic Content Online?

Creating online communities and other types of accessible, public, free, online and educational entertainment would be very useful to keep alive the diverse multiple regional languages that exist across the Italian, Hispanic and Portuguese territories like the public subreddits including:

r/Mirandes , r/Portuguese , r/Galego , r/Asturlleones , r/Spanish / r/Espanol / r/Castellano / r/SpanishLanguage , r/DjudeoEspanyol / r/Ladino , r/FablaAragonesa , r/Catalan , r/Occitan , r/Zeneise , r/LearnLombardLanguage , r/Venetian , r/Italian / r/ItalianLanguage / r/Italian_Language , r/Sicilian / r/Sicilianu , and r/Interlingua .

Some local connected languages exist across the island of Sardinia that are part of one linguistic continuum of gradual transitions in the following order:

The Sardinian language, the Sassarese language, the Castellanese language, the Gallurese language, the Corsican language, the Tuscan language, and the national Italian language.

Wikipedia for the Sardinian language:

https://sc.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limba_sarda

Wikipedia for the Sassarese language:

https://incubator.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wp/sdc/L%C3%ACnga_sassaresa

Wikipedia for the Corsican language:

https://co.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lingua_corsa

I am surprised that there have been better efforts to preserve local regional languages that are spoken by population numbers that are much smaller than the number of speakers for the Sardinian language.

The best educational content online for learning Sardinian that I could find was this old series of short lessons by "Telesassari":

https://youtu.be/08tMaLc_6bo?si=jSheD-dJ_ZeTISbS

What about if we created more language subreddits to commemorate and preserve the local languages of Sardinia?

Sharing is caring because sharing quick, accessible, public, free, online and educational content related to the language about any topic regularly at least once a week is the bare minimum that is enough to support a subreddit in being alive.

People tend to pay more attention to simple explanatory diagram images and other types of short, accessible, public, free, online, entertaining and educational linguistic content shared by language teachers at other social media platforms that are big sources of inspiration for ideas.

The diverse multiple local languages of the island of Sardinia are a valuable cultural relic that can grab the interest of linguistic tourism from the Latin side of the planet.

Pregonta 8 day itinerary for couple seeking local, chill holiday

Hi! I’m planning an 8 day trip to Sardinia in early October with my partner and would love some direction for where to base ourselves.

We much prefer small local towns and enclaves to big cities. We’ll have a car but being in a nice town where we can stroll back home after eating would be nice. Under 20 min drive to the coast is essential. Thinking of Bosa or Arbatax but open to ideas! 🙏🏼

Last year I went to Montalbo, an 800-meter high mountain if I remember correctly. There are some beautiful panoramas, Centuries-old trees and some others beautiful wiews.

Pregonta Planning a holiday in Sardinia

Hello,

Me and my wife ar planning a 7-10 days holiday somewhere in Europe for next year and we would love to visit Sardinia. We already visited Roma and Napoli in Italy, but now we would like to just relax at the beach.

Can you please give us some tips about where to land with the plane, where to stay, what beaches to see?

We do not have a car and we can not rent either, as we are new to driving and without experience. So we would love to stay in a place that is close to a beach with normal sand and beautiful water. Or maybe there are “all inclusive” accommodations that offer local food and transportation to the beach everyday? For a fair cost?

Thank you very much!

I'm back on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island... La Cinta! This beach has very fine sand and spectacular water (it's shallow right away, so to get to the spots where you can't touch the water, you have to go to the white signal or after (1.50 meters deep). When you enter at your left you see a big mountain, behind "Capo Coda Cavallo, another beautiful beach. You can rent a pedal boat or a kite surf. When you go to the left you find a little bridge which leads to a very large pond (photo after). If you have a submarine camera is the perfect place I don't have one, but when I do I will take spectacular photos of equally beautiful seas)

Cunversatzione Olbia to Palau bus

Hi, does anyone have any recent experience getting the bus from Olbia to Palau?

I keep seeing talk about how bad the public transport is, but this is the only part of our trip we really might need a car (however our hotel doesn’t have parking) so I wanted to know if anyone has recently successfully this bus trip or has any tips? We’ll be going mid September

Thanks

Cunversatzione I lost my phone

Hey everyone, I lost my Samsung S21 Ultra near the ENI station in Cheremule, Sassari. Someone picked it up and took it to Via Filippo Turati as i can tell from "find my mobile" but the battery is dead now and I dont know if he gave it to authorities or just stole it. Does anyone know who I can contact? I already wrote multiple emails and had calls but nothing seems to work. Any help would be lovely as I really need this phone back 🥲

Cunversatzione Gulf of Orosei - big boat or dinghy?

This question may have already been asked but...debating between a larger boat trip e.g this or a dinghy.

Anyone have any insight into what type is more enjoyable? Can see how the bigger boat would be more comfortable but maybe more busy, while the dinghys would be less comfortable out on the water. We're planning to board from Orosei, so the extra distance to the main sights has me leaning towards the larger boat

Now i'm not anymore at the beach... I'm in Posada! The little but beautiful city in East Sardinia! There's the castle and the beautiful storic center. There are a lot of locals (bar with wiew on the sea or the mountain), little bar setters in the center, without wiew but storic.

In Orgosolo (NU) there are hundreds and hundreds of beautiful murals, created between the 1970s and today. An artistic masterpiece. There is also a ticket office for an audio guide (available in Italian, Sardinian, English, German and Russian) and also a kiosk with excellent sandwiches. If you go to Nuoro you HAVE to see this. In the route of the murals explained by the audio guide, there are 80 murals out of approximately 300 in the whole city, here some photos
