Since this beach is the only one reachable with a short walk from the town it's often crowded and now needs a reservation.
If you don't have a reservation you can still take the paths from each side and maybe find a micro cove.

Planning to go away on our honeymoon in early May 2026. We're between Sicily and Sardinia. We feel like Sardinia may be more cost effective. Looking for a relaxing trip. Help!

Hey everybody.
Im trying to convince my wife to trave to sardinia in august.
We are definitely going to Italy, I wanna travel to Sardinia, but my wife is thinking more mainland Italy because of the culture, food etc.
Is Sardinia ALL about beaches and beautiful water, or can we mix it up with culture and great food and such?
Im a scuba diver, swimmer, paddleboarder and everything with water, but my wife is more about culture, old buildings, citys and such.
There is pretty cheap flights from denmark to Sardinia in august, so im hoping i can convince her with more than just, beautiful beaches :)

Hi! Saw a post somewhere that you need to register or get a license to be able to fly a drone in Sardinia from may 2025. I’ve been looking everywhere about this but can’t find any information about this. I will be flying a dji mini pro 4 which weighs 249g.
Does anyone know anything if there are new rules or if I have to do something to be able too use my done?

Got bitten by something while I was swimming a couple years ago. Does anyone know what could cause this?

Just got back from our trip in La Maddalena and here are the things I wish I knew beforehand:
Multiple Ferry Company - We initially bought a return ticket thinking we can use it anytime. But during our return to Palau we had to cross at a specific time but turns out Delcomar is the one scheduled at the time so basically wasted our return tickets from another company.
Busses from OLB - Palau - We had to buy tickets at specific shops so last minute we had to run for the tickets so we can make it on time.
Boat Rental - Wind matters! so plan your trip properly esp in May. During our first 2 days boat company are refusing to let us rent due to strong winds. Luckily F.M Services lets us get a boat on our last day and was able to go around Caprera Island.
Skipper - Personally, I would fully enjoy it if we had a more experienced boat driver that is familiar with the area and waves. If you will drive, It is definitely better to go with a group of atleast 3 so one can manouver and the other can take care of the anchor. But it is still an experience in itself to drive the boat.
Hope this helps!

Evening people. First time for me in Sardinia this July with my daughter. We are staying just outside Arzachena so looking for recommendations for local attractions and restaurants - I have a hire care.
TIA :)

My friends and I have a catamaran rented in mid June which will depart from Cagliari. What are some good spots to stop at for scenery and swimming? We have the boat for 8 hours.

We’re heading to Sardinia in early October and are finalising our itinerary at the moment. We have 2 weeks - 3 nights in San Teodoro and then drive to La Maddalena for 7 nights. Do they have any boat tours that leave from La Maddalena or do we have to get ferry across to Palau? Also have 2 nights after La Maddalena spare - need recommendations? Before we stay one night in Olbia before flying out.

Any suggestions on where to stay, which airport to fly into, car rental, etc? Traveling in mid June
We like the beach and are interested to know where the best ones on the island are. Also, a beachside four to five star resort is preferable. My wife, 12 year old daughter and myself will be on the trip.
We'd like to take a ferry to the Italian mainland if that is possible. Want to visit Puglia or Bari for a couple of days. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I see these posters all over La Caletta. I tried translating it but it's more about claims than information. I suppose it's movement against wind energy on the island. But I'd love to know more.
