Discussion About Nephis and the Shadow bond

Remember when the sin of solace says: There is nothing more pathetic than a slave who begins to trust his slaver.

In my opinion their love is unequal and it always has been. Even if Nephis would not abuse the bond, and given her stance on the nightmare spell that is highly doubtful, who is to say what her stance will be once she advances again.

She is still obsessed megalomaniac who will sacrifice everyone and everything to achieve her goals and rarely listens to other people takes on situation. She just do what she wants and somehow it works out. Keep in mind that she has lost a piece of her humanity every time she advanced and there are two stages left.

Even in her name, changing star, she is ment to change and not all changes are for the better.

I just hope when she and Sunny will travel to the Tomb of Ariel or smth like that her character will develop a tad bit more

Did you miss her conversation at the spire? And when when she woke up? And when rescuing tamar?

She is not sacrificing inocents again

Doesn't stop he from risking their lives for her goals .

The fight with the sovereigns is enough evidence for you .

Hell her stance on the spell and dream is even more so .

The other option was to let the sovereigns get the whole armies of humanity killed, letting them defenseless. Then one sovereign winning, becoming unstoppable for nephis, yet still useless to defend humanity. Billons would die. Mass extinction when dream god wakes up.

She had no choice but to fight them at that point

Regarding the spell, she was clear that Dream god has to die first. Then the spell is obsolete and unnecessary. Sunny plan of hiding his face under the sand is not realistic. Weaver put gods training features in the spell for a reason. You think the guy who could see fate didn't know that the spell was not a permanent solution?
