Question Reason for hate ???
I find it funny how people used to complain about Rain's POV chapters, and now they actually miss them. Do you think the constant daily releases are the reason for all the hate Shadow Slave gets lately?

I don't get the hate on rain, her pov was what made the war literally more tolerable. The only complains that I have is how G3 repeats itself and drags, like I get it that the weather in god grave was awful don't need to remind me every chapter, you also don't need to tell me how hot Cassie and neph are every damn chapter, I get. It. Under than that , is the whole Cassie going unpunished, and shadow bond with neph that really piss me off, normal stuff around here.

ive been reading for a while now and honestly ever since the war wit anvil n song started the hate like tripled its crazy

100% the biggest cause for Shadow Slave hate is catching up. Shadow Slave is very much the type of story that you need to binge to fully appreciate. Reading it day by day is exhausting because it uses a very drawn out method of storytelling. Events happen in the span of dozens of chapters, sometimes even hundreds, and that’s really difficult to get through day by day
This, combined with the fact that most people on this sub are people who’ve caught up, means that most people on this sub are people who end up hating the most recent arc

Because with rain we see her evolving, sort of like early sunny, we see her going from knowing nothing to learning and getting stronger which is allot more interesting coupled with sunny and

Nah. It made for good parallels with her group and Sunny’s and had good interactions but it was mid. Her evolving is just way less intriguing than when it was sunny cuz there aren’t any stakes with her since she’s always overlooked by sunny

We need more pov chapters of a lot of the main cast and some of the side characters. More rain, more Kai, more Nephis, more Cassie, more Mordret, I also wouldn't mind a chapter dedicated to Beth, more Julius, more Morgan, more Tyris, there are a ton of interesting characters and I think the author should take more time to flesh out everyone. I wouldn't mind a POV of Revel learning more and more about the Jade palace while growing up. I would absolutely love to see a chapter where Julius just has a meltdown arguing with some academic snobs about how amazing nobody's research is. G3 made so many characters and I love most of them. He just needs to show them more often

I find rain pov boring since I just dont like any her or any of the charactere around her, except for june who has way too cool of an aspect
