Here’s how it goes: Fang Yuan post chapter 2334, after dying (hypothetically), transmigrates into the body of one of the Seven people who were supposed to go into the Forgotten Shore arc. With his memories and cunning intact, he now has to navigate the dangers of the arc from a completely different perspective. would this force him to change strategies completely—turning from outright dominance to subtle schemes and manipulation?
How do you think this version of Fang Yuan would play out in the SS world
And he transmigrates right before one of the seven (excluding sunny, nephis, cassia and caster)goes to their first nightmare. If he survives here is his aspect and flaw ( I tried to make him not too op )
Obviously his aspect is divine so his class can get higher . Also his soul sea is an aperture and when he becomes a saint he will regain sovereign fetus gu with no calamity happening unless he wants to ascend without the nightmarespell help.
ASPECT : Encyclopedia of Gu [Your mind contains the complete knowledge of every Gu that has ever existed up to this moment in history. You understand their forms, functions, refinement methods, and weaknesses as if they were etched into your soul.]
[When you summon gu, they crystallize, temporarily tethered to your essence. Every Gu is exact — its abilities, costs, and weaknesses identical to its true counterpart.]
Here how they would scale
Dormant: You may only manifest and utilize Rank 1 Gu.
Awakened: Rank 2 Gu become available.
Master: Rank 3 Gu become available.
Saint: Rank 4 Gu become available
Transformation:Regain rank 10 sovereign fetus gu And it generate essence ( can't be effected by corruption)
Sovereign:Rank 5 and 6 become available
Spirit : Rank 6 gu become rank 7
Divine : all gu's can be used
FLAW:Shackles of Fate
Fate resent your defiance. At times, threads of inevitability weave against your schemes — coincidences that ruin plans, enemies who arrive at the worst moment, or allies who falter at a critical time. You are destined to struggle against the weight of fate itself.

Synopsis: A normal, average reader of shadow slave finds himself transmigrated into the world he so loved... as caster of all people! Well, not so much now I suppose. This world seemed to have awoken his crazed side as he tries to survive and thrive in this world and find a way back.
This is the story of a reader, who now gets terrorized by the story he loved so much.
So far, spoilers until the forgotten shore.

You’re sent to the Shadowslave world, carrying all your current knowledge. The timetable mirrors Sunny’s, the moment he conquered his first nightmare. You’ve just been infected, and congratulations—you’ve conquered your first nightmare. But now, you’re bound for the Forgotten Shore. You won’t be sent to the castle, but neither will you be as far away as Sunny and his companions.
You’re allowed to choose your own aspect and flaw, though divine aspects are off-limits.
By the way, you’re not a legacy. You’re just an average person in this world.
My choice:
Dormant Aspect: Gemma—self-regeneration. A perfect fit for unforeseen situations, and crucial for surviving injuries, which are inevitable.
Flaw: Surprise, surprise—Kai’s flaw.
After conquering my first nightmare, I inform the government about my abilities. In return, I receive soul shards as a reward. This might seem foolish in the long run, but I already know my destination: the Forgotten Shore. A few shards will give me the edge I need, especially for surviving long enough to make my first kill. Remember, even the weakest is an awakened beasts in forgotten shore.
From there, survival is my priority. I aim to reach the city, then join the “bad guys” and work as a hunter under Gunlag—the smartest way to stay alive. When Sunny, Nephis, and Cassie eventually arrive, I won’t join them—but I’ll maintain friendly relations.
After Nephis kills Gunlag, I’ll switch sides and join her.
I plan to tweak the original strategy in a few ways:
1. I will pretend to be an oracle to Gunlag. I have knowledge of future events, which I can use to convince him.
2. I will try to convince Gunlag that Nephis will successfully get everyone out by “predicting” events that actually occur.
3. I will try to convince Gunlag to join Nephis in her attack on the Crimson Spire.
Gunlag tried to escape at first but lost hope. If an oracle convincingly tells him that future events will unfold as predicted, it could restore his faith and give him reason to act. After all, Nephis only killed him because he interfered with her plan to storm the Crimson Spire.
Edit: There are many posts suggesting that we risk corruption from possessing too much knowledge. We don’t know exactly how corruption works, but just in case, we would receive outerworld protection from the spell. This means the knowledge we already possess would not affect us—but any newly acquired knowledge within the Shadowslave world would affect us in the same way it affects others in that world.

Just like the title says, I have created the perfect soul bound weapon for sunless. Using sunless’ two best qualities I have created the perfect soul bound weapon. Survivability and versatility.
The soul bound weapon takes the form of any weapon sunless has mastered as its active form. While in the dormant form it becomes an armor that surrounds the soul core.
Here are the attributes and it’s traits
Attribute: [Soul Shield] Attribute Traits: [Living Shield], [Sacrificial Lamb], [Stalwart], [Stubborn Will], [Shadow Blade], [Soul Shield], [Bound]
Attribute: [Shadow Blade] Attribute Traits: [Shadow Arsenal], [Acquire Affinity], [Shadow Metamorphosis], [Hostile Will], [Shadow Blade], [Soul Shield], [Bound]
Description
[Shadow Blade]: the active state of the soul bound weapon.
[Soul Shield]: the dormant state of the soul bound weapon.
[Bound]: bounds both the [Shadow Blade] and [Soul Shield] attribute to sunless’ soul. As sunless increases his soul rank so would the attributes.
[Living Shield]: The armor is capable of repairing itself. Spending essence accelerates the process.
[Sacrificial Lamb]: Redirects any damage done to the soul core onto the armor.
[Stalwart]: This armor provides extremely high protection against physical attacks, high protection against elemental attacks, and high protection against mind and soul attacks.
[Stubborn Will]: The soul armor has been given a stubborn Will. This stubborn Will refuses any damage to be done to the soul armor, making this armor unreasonably durable. This enchantment acts as an anchor point for one’s will and the potency of that will depend on you.
[Shadow Arsenal]: The soul armor will be summoned in the form of a fearsome weapon, you can choose the weapon it summoned into as long as you have mastered the use of that weapon.
[Acquire Affinity]: The weapon attunes to the soul of its wielder and aquifers an affinity with it.
[Shadow Metamorphosis]: the weapon like it’s master is a shadow and as a shadow it can go through the steps of shadow dance with its master. Acquiring a new form and traits to accompany its master’s new persona.
[Hostile Will]: the stubborn will imbued to the soul armor has been transformed into a hostile will. This will seeks to destroy the enemy of its wielder, making every attack more deadly then they are supposed to be. This enchantment acts as an anchor point for one’s will and the potency of the will depends on you
This soul bound weapon is so good that I would allow G3 to straight up use it or copy any of the enchantments. Anyway any questions on the enchantments? Or any questions?

It was one of those afternoons — actually, the same as always.
I had just finished my sword training with my teacher and was resting at my favorite place in the training ground. It was a quiet spot, tucked beside a wide old gulmohar tree, whose fiery red flowers danced slowly in the warm breeze. The sun filtered through its thick leaves, casting dappled shadows on the faded wooden bench beneath it — the one that creaked when I sat down but still stood strong no matter the season.
This place always felt different from the rest of the training yard. Like it didn’t belong to the world of swords and sweat and silent expectations. Maybe that’s why I liked it so much. Maybe because of him.
My father.
He’s gone now. Has been for a while. But every time I come here, it’s like I can remember him just a little better — his face, the roughness in his voice when he spoke kindly, and the calm, steady light in his eyes.
It’s strange. I feel happy when I sit here.
Really happy.
But at the same time, there’s this sharp pain in my chest. Like something's pressing down on it. Like I want to cry, but the tears won’t come out.
I’m tired of it.
I really am.
Where are you, Dad?
When are you coming back?
About twenty or thirty minutes had passed since training ended. I was still sitting there under the gulmohar, trying not to think too much. That’s when I heard a voice.
“Nephis. Are you done with your training?”
I turned around, and standing to the left of the bench was my grandmother.
Her gaze met mine — firm, composed, and unwavering. That gaze could quiet an entire hall. It was the gaze of someone who carried more responsibility than anyone ever should. A weight that could’ve crushed a lesser person a long time ago. Her posture was straight, her voice calm, but in her eyes — past the steel — there was warmth. A quiet kind of worry. The kind only a grandmother could have.
She looked like she was in her late fifties, maybe early sixties, but honestly, she seemed older than that. Not because of weakness — far from it — but because life had made her age faster. Because she was just a normal human in a world that demanded more than she should’ve given.
Her black hair was streaked with grey, more grey than black now, tied neatly at the back. There was no magic in her blood, no inherited power. Just sheer will and a sense of duty sharper than any sword.
“Ah… yes, Grandmother. I’m done,” I said quickly.
She nodded once, then turned away.
“Good. Go wash up. Then meet me. I have something important to speak to you about.”
“Yes, Grandmother,” I replied without even a second’s pause.
And just like that, she walked off — leaving me alone again under the gulmohar, the breeze still whispering through its flowers, and that bench still holding me like it always had. I didn’t waste much time after that.
I washed up quickly, combed my hair, and changed into a light violet dress. It was simple, nothing fancy, but it felt right. Comfortable. Then I made my way straight toward my grandmother’s quarters.
Her room was in the older part of the estate — not grand, not heavily decorated, just clean and dignified. The wooden corridors were quiet this time of day, filled only with the sound of soft wind brushing against the paper screens. I walked past the small indoor garden and arrived at the familiar dark-brown door with silver carvings near the handle. I stopped in front of it.
Knock, knock.
“It’s me, Grandmother,” I said softly.
A few seconds passed. Then her voice came from behind the wooden door — calm and clear.
“Come in.”
I opened the door and stepped inside.
Her room was just like her — perfectly in order. The books were neatly arranged on the shelves, her desk was cleared except for a few scrolls, and the soft white curtains swayed just slightly in the breeze coming through the open window. My grandmother stood near it, her hands folded behind her back, gazing out silently.
Standing a little behind her was my teacher.
She turned her head toward me, gave a small nod, and then gestured to the teacher.
“Leave us for a moment.”
He bowed slightly and exited without a word, leaving just the two of us in the room.
She moved slowly to the side of her bed and sat down with a quiet sigh, then patted the space beside her. I didn’t hesitate. I went and sat next to her, wondering what she wanted to talk to me about. She looked tired, but also… gentle, in a way she rarely showed.
Then she placed her hand on my shoulder. Her palm was warm. Frail, but steady.
“Your teacher told me that you're doing great in your studies and sword practice, Neph.”
I just nodded.
“Really, Nephis. It puts me at ease to see you prepare diligently for the future.”
I could tell she wanted to say something more — her voice slowed at the end — but she held it back.
Then after a brief pause, she spoke again.
“Well, Neph… the important thing I wanted to talk to you about is this: I want you to attend a gathering on the clan’s behalf.”
I blinked. That… was unexpected.
Grandmother had always been strict about me going out — especially to formal events. She said they were distractions. That the world outside was dangerous and loud and not to be trusted. And now she wanted me to go to one?
I turned to look at her, confused.
She saw it. Then slowly, her hand moved from my shoulder to my hair. Her fingers combed through it gently, slowly.
“To tell you the truth, Neph… I’m still very reluctant to let you go. I really am. But it’s for your own benefit. No matter how strong you become, no matter how hard you train — you can’t survive alone. You won’t survive alone. Nobody can.”
Her voice trembled a little. Not much — just enough for me to notice.
I thought for a second and then asked quietly:
“Like Uncle Anvil and Auntie Ki?”
The change in her expression was immediate.
Her hand on my shoulder stiffened slightly. The air in the room felt heavier. She didn’t speak for a few seconds.
Then she took a deep breath, her eyes moist and her voice cracked just a little.
“No, dear… I’m talking about the real ones.”
That silence after her words lingered.
Then, once more, she straightened herself — pushing down whatever memory had just surfaced.
“A lot of children from noble families will be there. Maybe… you can make a friend or two. Your teacher will accompany you. Be ready in the evening.”Nephis quietly left her grandmother’s quarters and walked back to her room, her mind unusually still. She wasn’t sure how to feel — nervous? curious? skeptical? All of it, maybe. But one thing was certain: her grandmother wouldn’t send her out unless it really mattered.
She entered her room and gently shut the door behind her. The soft creak of the wood echoed a little in the quiet space.
There was still some time before evening. She sat down on the edge of her bed, brushing a few strands of hair away from her face. Outside, the sky was slowly turning orange — just the edge of sunset creeping in.
Back in her quarters, Nephis’s grandmother was still seated, her hands folded in her lap. The moment Nephis had left, the calm on her face began to fade.
A soft knock came on the door.
“Come in,” she said, her voice slightly tired.
The door opened, and her long-time retainer and Nephis’s personal instructor stepped in.
Master Steve.
He was an older man — lean, sharp-eyed, and quiet in his movements. He had no noble blood, no special gifts from the Spell, but decades of battlefield experience had honed him into someone far more dangerous than most Awakened realized. More importantly, he was loyal.
She let out a soft sigh as she looked up at him.
“Please, Master Steve… keep her safe.”
Steve bowed deeply, hand over chest.
“My lady, rest assured — I will protect Lady Nephis with my life. You have nothing to worry about.”
She nodded slowly, but the worry in her eyes didn’t fade.
“Prepare some memories . Just in case of an emergency. You know the kind I mean.”
“Yes, my lady.”
He bowed again, lower this time, then quietly exited the room — leaving the old woman alone in the fading light.
CHAPTER 2: THE GATHERING
The sun had dipped just past the horizon. A faint golden hue still lingered in the sky, but the estate was beginning to glow with warm lantern light. Servants moved quietly through the halls, lighting the way with care, as the evening breeze rustled through the high walls and quiet courtyards.
Inside her room, Nephis stood in front of the mirror.
She wore a long, pale silver dress with subtle threadwork along the sleeves and hem—formal, but not extravagant. Her grandmother had always said that dignity didn’t need to shout. Her white hair was brushed neatly and tied back with a simple dark ribbon.
She stared at her reflection for a moment longer than necessary.
Her expression was calm, composed, just like always. But there was a flicker of something in her eyes tonight. Not fear exactly—more like… uncertainty. Maybe even a bit of anticipation, though she wouldn’t admit it.
A gathering of noble heirs… People I’ve never met. Probably never wanted to meet.
Still, this wasn’t just for appearances. If her grandmother said it was important, then it was. That was enough.
A soft knock broke her train of thought.
“Lady Nephis. It’s time.”
Master Steve stood outside the door, dressed in a formal uniform—black with silver trim, carrying a short blade at his side. He looked exactly as he always did. Unshaken. Reliable.
She nodded and stepped out.
The two walked through the estate in silence. Nephis didn’t speak, and Steve didn’t ask anything unnecessary. That was something she appreciated about him. He never filled the silence with empty words.
As they exited through the main gate, a sleek black carriage awaited them—marked with the crest of the Immortal Flame Clan. A single coachman stood ready.
Master Steve opened the door for her without saying a word. She stepped inside, took her seat by the window, and watched the estate grow smaller as the carriage pulled away.
The city beyond was starting to glow—lamps being lit, people moving through the streets dressed for dinner and music and business. Somewhere, not far now, a hall filled with noble children waited. Laughter, conversation, fake smiles, and—if her grandmother was right—a chance to make a bond that might one day save her life.
She didn’t know what to expect.
But she sat quietly, her back straight, her eyes focused ahead.
Ready for whatever came next.
The carriage came to a soft stop in front of a grand estate, one of the neutral zones used for formal noble gatherings. Its tall white walls stretched wide like arms meant to welcome—but the cold stone didn’t feel particularly warm.
Nephis stepped down first, guided by Master Steve. The guards at the entrance straightened at the sight of her and saluted with precise coordination.
“Welcome, Lady Nephis.”
She gave a small nod, not slowing her pace. Her back was straight, her hands relaxed at her sides. To anyone watching, she moved with quiet dignity—composed and confident.
But inside… her stomach was tight.
She was only twelve, after all. Twelve, with almost no experience of these so-called social gatherings that her grandmother always avoided on her behalf. The estate halls she grew up in had been large but quiet, and her training grounds had only ever echoed with the sound of wood meeting steel. Now there were voices. Dozens of them. Laughter. Movement.
And when she stepped into the main hall—
She froze for just half a second.
There were children. So many children.
Boys and girls, all dressed in formal attire, chatting in small clusters. Most were around her age, maybe a year older. It was the first time in her entire life that she had seen so many people who looked like her—not teachers, not guards, not adults giving orders or whispering worries. Just… other kids.
Some part of the nervousness inside her shifted into something else.
Excitement?
She didn’t expect that. After all, she had lived a sheltered life. Ever since her father disappeared, her world had only become more narrow. Tighter. Safer, but colder. She hadn’t even thought it was possible to feel excited like this around strangers.
They’re just some noble kids around my age… right?
But still… it felt like something new. Something different.
She waited near the entry for a few minutes, expecting someone to approach. A host, a servant, maybe another heir offering greetings—but no one came.
She stood there, perfectly still, her face calm as ever. She kept her posture straight, as she had been taught. If there was awkwardness in the air, she didn’t let it touch her expression.
Eventually, she decided to approach someone herself.
There was a girl standing not too far from her, dressed in pale green robes, sipping something from a cup and glancing around the hall. Nephis walked over and spoke with a soft, polite tone.
“Hello. I’m Nephis. Of Immortal Flame.”
The girl looked at her for a moment, blinked, and gave a curt nod.
“Ah. I see.”
That was it. She turned away almost immediately, sipping from her cup again as if Nephis had never been there.
It wasn’t even rude, really. Just cold. Like she wanted the conversation to end before it even began.
Nephis blinked once, then moved on.
She tried again with a boy. Then another girl. Then a pair of twins standing near the central table. The pattern repeated—each interaction shorter, more dismissive, colder. One boy even looked right through her and then turned his back without a word, walking away like she was invisible.
Something didn’t feel right.
She stopped trying.
Instead, she walked to the far end of the hall and stood by the window, her hands folded in front of her, her silver dress catching faint traces of the lantern light. She gazed outside quietly, pretending to admire the view. But really… she just didn’t want anyone to see her expression anymore.
Was it something I said? Something I didn’t say?
She didn’t understand. These were supposed to be her peers. Her equals. And yet—it felt like she didn’t belong here. Like they all knew something she didn’t.
She stood there in silence for what felt like hours, though it was only minutes.
Then came the voice she had been waiting for.
“My lady,” Master Steve said gently as he approached her side. “I believe it’s better if we excuse ourselves now.”
Nephis didn’t even think twice.
Finally.
She nodded silently, grateful he had come. She followed him without a word, her head held high. But even as they left the main hall, she could still feel the stares—quiet, sharp, unreadable—pressing against her back.
Not one person had tried to stop her.
They stepped out into the night air. The carriage was waiting.
She climbed in, and Master Steve sat across from her. The door closed, and the quiet returned.
The moment the carriage began to move, Nephis looked out the window again, her reflection faintly visible in the dark glass.
So this is what it means to be alone… even in a room full of people.
She didn’t cry. She didn’t frown.
She just stared at the passing lights.
And said nothing.
The carriage rolled quietly through the streets as the city began to fall into its nightly rhythm. The clatter of hooves on stone echoed softly through the narrow roads, and lanterns flickered on tall iron posts, casting shifting shadows across the buildings.
Nephis sat in silence, her eyes half-focused on the glass window beside her. The noble gathering still lingered in her mind—empty smiles, quiet stares, and the weight of isolation pressing against her ribs.
She should’ve felt relief to be heading home. And yet… the quiet inside the carriage wasn’t peaceful. It was hollow.
Then—
Her eyes caught something.
A flicker.
A shape.
She blinked, instinct tightening in her chest.
Just beyond the moving blur of the carriage window, between two alleys partially swallowed by darkness, a boy stood — or rather, staggered.
He couldn’t have been more than ten. Maybe eleven. Black hair, messy and clumped with dirt. His shirt was torn, hanging loosely from his shoulder, and the side of his stomach was soaked in red. It wasn’t dry blood. It was fresh.
He clutched his side with one trembling hand. His knees buckled slightly. He looked up for a moment — just a single second — and in that second, their eyes met.
Not fully.
Not deeply.
But enough.
Enough for her to move.
“Stop the carriage!”

So awhile ago, after Sunny talked about it, someone made a post asking for a fic where Sunny was adopted by the Song Clan.
I was thinking about doing one but I’m stuck between deciding two things and wanted to ask what sounds better.
1) Sunny is found off the streets around age 10, in this he will have new abilities(still wondering if I should change his flaw). But will still go to the Forgotten Shore and meet Nephis and Cassie.
2) Seishan convinces him to join the Song Clan after Forgotten Shore and to spite Nephis he does. In this same abilities but it will have the FS peak and the whole Cassie, Nephis, and Sunny dynamic.
So if your interested I would love to hear your opinions, thanks.

So I had this really interesting idea of turning the black light virus into an aspect, and it was a very cool thing to me because Alex mercer from prototype powers seems like they belong in shadow slave for some reason, so here's my best try:
Aspect: the light of Contagion Rank:Supreme Type: Mutation / shapeshifting/ Consumption Description: [you are a hungry beast, some call you a parasite, others a monster. Yet none of them are true. You are what you devour, nothing more nothing less]
Dormant Ability: [Viral Instinct]
The bearer develops a heightened ability to sense life and essence around them.
Can sense nearby organic matter, infection, or blood like a radar.
Passively regenerates minor wounds by drawing biomass from the environment.
Awakened Ability: [biomass manipulation]
This is where The Aspect manifests itself to it's true abilities
The user can manipulate their own biomass to an explosive degree in multiple ways such:
Consume: The bearer can devour victims whole (body and soul), absorbing their biomass to heal grievous wounds instantly, restore stamina, and gain fragments of memory or skill.
Biomass Weaponry: using their ability to manipulate biomass the user Limbs can be reshaped into claws, blades, whips, or hammer-fists. These weapons possess immense destructive power and are fueled by consumed biomass.
The user can also shift his biomass to appear as another creature or another person using essence. (This ability growns stronger once the user transcend)
Each consumption strengthens the bearer, but also deepens the compulsion of the Flaw.
Ascended Ability: [Viral Conjuration]
The user now can now extract biomass from their own body and use it in multiple ways.
Such as spawning thralls and abominations from absorbed biomass, creating servants bound to the bearer’s will, these thralls are mindless and can be used for scouting similar to Sunny's shadows
biomass can also be expelled outward to creat explosive pods, tendrils, or corrosive clouds – to devastate groups of enemies or corrupt terrain.
The biomass can be implanted in creatures of similar and lower ranks to give said creatures a weakened version of the [light of contagion] aspect
Each creation increases the mental toll on the user and most be sustained with Essence
Transcendent Transformation: Plague Incarnate
The body of the user dissolves into a hive-mind swarm of biomass airborne virus which can infect nearby creatures and aweakneds
In this state the user can take control over multiple bodies while giving them a less potent version of the aspect abilities
The user Holds complete authority over all biomass in the nearby area making them hard to kill.
Infected creatures act as extensions of the user will, unless the creature has an aspect or an attribute immune to the user aspect
(Feel free to add idea to this, also I couldn't make a domain even though it would be very simple with how this aspect function, I just didn't manage to make one. It's core theme would probably be infected or flesh)

Anvil stood motionless as he watched life leave the body of the lord of shadows
The fearsome armor cracked and started to crumble, falling from his pale body, and turning into dust. Watery, almost transparent blood was flowing from his pirced chest
Anvil retreated his sword from the corpse hand, his impossible resistent bones, now frail like glass, where shattered with the smallest disturbance
The demonic mask fell on the ground, revealing the face of the insolent worm, his expression calm and solemn. The king of swords stared with disdain, as the lifeless eyes, blurred like the ones of a blind man, still stared at him
"How pathetic"
His voice full of disdain
"Heir of death? Your words are as meaningless as your pathetic uprising, you were nothing but an ugly stain, damaging the flawless image of my masterpiece. "
The dark embrace of the fragment of the shadow helm stared to withdraw, it's shadows cowering as if mourning the death of their lord, and as if fearing the tyrannical lights from above
And in that moment, Anvil noticed, the barrier of swords, that was on the verge of colapse, no longer was being melted away by the cruel flames of the sun God, the ever present glow from above was dimmed, and Anvil already knew the reason
His mouth twisted into a grim, and as he looked up, he saw that the burning lights of godgrave weren't dimmend, but where rather being absorbed... by his masterpiece
Far above in the sky, a single beacon of light dared to defy the flames of the sun god, being broken and rebuild by his heat a hundred, thousand, a million times... her radiant wings absorbed the light with unbreakable resolve and unsasiable greed, growing bigger and bigger, converging more and more light to her body, growing brighter and brighter.
It was like watching the birth of a new star, her presence washed away all the clouds, her glow bathed the entire plains, further oppressing the shadows of the fragment, the entire battlefield stopped as nightmare creatures where being oppressed by her furious will, and the humans embraced by her warmth, as they wached all the light converge into her humanoid figure, completely speechless...
And she grew brighter and brighter, her wings threatening to cover the skies, the metamorphosis was reaching its final stage, and humanity's greatest champion was about to born
Avil face completely twisted into a crooked smile, full of malicious satisfaction, his perfect sword was about to be completed, no longer defiled by that ugly black stain. He wached as the baptism reached its critical point, and for a moment, a infinitely small moment, the light of the sun did not reached the ground, for the first time...
And them
the burning wrath of a supernova engulfed the world
The ancient horrors of the crimson jungle where smited with such fury that not even their ashes remained, as if their existence where nothing but a bad dream, the soldiers of both armies where embraced by the light, it's warmth entered their bodies released them of all their pain.
After the initial outburst, the remaining witness opened their eyes and looked up, their gazes locked into the lonely figure floating in the sky. Her presence even greater than before, still shielding them from the sun with her now two pairs of radiant wings, absorbing the light from above with even greater hunger. The guardian angel of humanity slowly descended, facing her people with her flaming eyes.
Anvil was absoluted delighted with the sign, the tyrannical presence, the infinitely sharp will, his blade has been completed, and the world was now witnessing all her mighty, his life work finally gave fruits, his goal had finally Been reached... them why did he felt as a invisible hand was grasping his heart?
The thought was pushed away as the dauther of broken sword aimed her gaze at him, all the pressure of her domain crushing with it's overwhelming presence.
The King Of swords gazed back, completely satisfacted with the lethality of his weapon, his moment had finally came, he woud finally be slayed by his perfect sword, finally being able to fulfill his final goal....but that was not what happened.
Changing Star didn't lunged at him to end his life, she just stared, completely motionless for several long seconds, her gaze than fell into the lifeless corpse of her lover, her expression didn't betrayed any emotion.
With a voice full of scorn, Anvil said
" stil lamenting the death of this pathetic worm? He was too weak to even die by my hands, he cho-"
his words where stoped by changing star subtle change of expression
It wasn't sadness, sorrow, grief, or even anger that was being showed in her face
She was smiling
A smile that didn't fit her divine semblance, not a smile of satisfaction or happiness, but one full of disdain, as if Anvil was nothing but a ignorant fool spitting nonsense
What she did next was even more puzzling.
She retracted her domain from all the area covered by the shadow domain fragment, her presence, no longer suppressing the king of swords.
Anvil frowned, incapable of understanding her actions
"What's the meaning of this?"
But something else answered his question
The suppressed shadows of the fragment expanded at full force, deeper and darker than ever before, moving into multiple currents like the sea in the middle of a storm.
Seven whirlwinds of darkness formed around Anvil, engulfing every shadow in a 50 kilometers radius, all of them converging into his directions, they shrieked, or rather, where being compressed as they got closer, becoming even more violent.
At the same time, a bubble of shadows covered the entire zone around the king of swords, completely blocking the radiant light from above.
The mocking smile of changing Star growing even wider was the last thing that Anvil saw before the world was engulfed by darkness.
The seven whirlwinds suddenly dashed forward, like snakes made of ethereal wind and shadows, violently converging into a single point, into a compressed monolith of darkness and death, like the last tombstone of the world itself.
That harrowing merging made this entire domain enter in frenzy, consuming everything like ethereal storm
Anvil used his swords to create a barrier, and his expression darkned after noticing that he no longer was able to control the swords outside of the shadow bubble, as if the world outside where a different dimension, and the ones inside where being teared apart by the storm of shadows, blood fell from his mouth, eyes and ears as the ethereal winds started to tear his armor, his flesh, his soul, and even his domain
The dark monolith kept unleashing its ruthless storm, consuming everything inside his domain of death, compressing itself into some forms of impossible dense and infinitely dark stone
Anvil wasn't able to notice, but even tho it was only a few meters away from the dark monolith, the lifeless corpse of Sunless stayed completely undisturbed, not even his hair was being moved by the raging storm.
And then the monolith colapsed within itself, shrinking in size and refining in shape, as if being molded by the dreadful winds.
The process repeated itself dozens of times, each one more violent, and his presence growing even more dreadful at each repetition.
After a period of time that felt both like a eternity and a few minutes, the macabre cicle came to its end...
And the final result was even more harrowing than it's process
A charred skeleton made of obsidian bones, standing a little less than 2 meters tall, with a small tail connected to his spine, thee small horns emerging from his skull. His dreadful presence made him the avatar of death, a unstoppable force that woud shalow all things ever created.
He was standing silently in front of Anvil, staring him with the pools of infinite darkness that were in the place of his eyes, the only sound that could be heard was the rytimcal beating of his black heart, pumping dark blood through the web of exposed veins that covered his body.
All the shadows were dancing, as if celebrating the arrival of their sovereign.

The sovereign drops the shade of harper on the outskirts of NQSC and gives a very simple order, to kill indefinitely. It might kill a few mundane then suddenly die from a awakened as harper is just a sleeper, but after a few seconds or even minutes it will revive.
An hour have passed, an awakened has died. With just the husk of who they were, the shade of harper was helplessly destroyed but without an end, he remained relentless. A part of the town is already starting evacuation. A ascended finally intervened. Nothing could contain the dead for it is merely a shadow.
A day passes, several awakened has now been turned into a shade. Due to the nature of the shades nearly every awakened is hesitant to engage, every mundane has either been killed or evacuated in this part of the outskirts. Only the ascended and a few awakened remains. Still murder continues.
Its been a week since the first shade appeared, a small part of the outskirts is now a dead zone. The neighboring parts are now being evacuated. But the undying legion continues faster than they could escape. Nearly hundreds of awakened has fallen, several ascended senselessly leading the massacre. The very ascended who remained the longest has finally given up and a saint arrives.
A month has come, the legion was merely hindered and two more saints had joined to stop their slaughter. The outer city is slowly being decimated by the shadows of the dead. Thousands upon thousands of mundane has died, nearly a thousand shades roaming around searching for any living shadow. The dead ascended was like a living omen. Each minute their reach becomes unavoidable, unstoppable. As the savages push on, the ones in charge of containment finally found a way to stop a shadow from moving from it's place, the device was once used to stop the lord of shadows from teleporting during the war. Without any other command from the sovereign of death, one by one the shades will be contained.
A year has gone by, every shades since the first moment it appeared is now contained. None of them must be destroyed or they will escape the moment they revive again. a tenth of the outer city of NQSC, once home of a few millions of people is now gone. Then the sovereign unsummoned the legion.

I recall seeing a post like this ages ago where everybody made some very cool and well thought out aspect abilities!
I would like to extend a challenge to the community to create an aspect! All levels of aspects are welcome, so I expect a lot of epic divine aspects as well as the sneaky Ascended ones :P
The format ahead is roughly what you can follow, as well as an example template:
Aspect Name: [Gold Blessed]
Aspect Rank: [Transcendent]
Attributes: [Value] - [Sense the strength of different materials at a glance]
Aspect Ability: [Gold Synch] - [You possess the ability to merge with the gold as your body grows stronger with the amount of gold you hold within you]
Awakened Ability: [Golden Vision] - [A mental attack allowing you to convert materials to gold from a distance at a steady rate]
Ascended Ability: [Gold Shaper] - [Materials you mold into gold may contain stronger structure or weaker structure, allowing you to enhance yourself or weaken opponents]
Transcended Ability: [Gold Form] - [Your body transforms to become gold as all your stored gold further enhances your core strength as all physical abilities become greatly enhanced, you also posses the ability to turn the air around you into gold]
Flaw: [Midas Curse] - [Beyond your control everything you touch slowly corrupts into gold]
Brownie points if you include their equipment and arsenal! Such as this characters item! Brownie points if they have enchantments and go with your aspect ability!
[Glowing Stone] - [A sturdy ascended stone that gives off a luscious light and resists change]
[Luminous Healing] - [Provides healing to those within its light, mending wounds and cuts]
I can’t wait to see what you guys create! Good luck and have fun :D

MMORPG Concept] Shadow Slave as an MMO: Aspects, Sovereigns, and Endless War
Imagine a Shadow Slave-inspired MMORPG where every player awakens from a Nightmare with a randomized Aspect—a unique combination of abilities, passives, and flaws. Builds are unpredictable, power is earned through synergy and survival, and ascension follows the path: Sleeper → Awakened → Ascended → Transcendent → Sovereign.
At the top, Sovereigns lead entire nations. They build and control Grand Citadels in Nightmare zones—fortress-cities that serve as hubs of power and war. Through massive Citadel Sieges, Nightmare Crusades, and Realm Conquests, players fight for dominance over territory, resources, and server-wide influence.
Every server exists in a larger multiverse. Once a faction secures total dominance, its Sovereign can declare war across dimensions—entering the Sacred Rift, where elite guilds from other servers clash for god-tier Aspects and the power to reshape the world itself.
Meanwhile, an ancient, shadowy force stirs—feeding on corruption, growing stronger as players fail to hold back the Nightmare. When corruption peaks, Titanic horrors breach the world, laying waste to cities and forcing even rival factions to choose: fight together, or be devoured alone.
It would like a mix between Helldivers 2 and Aika online.
Just for fun

Aspect Name: [Vile Thief]
Aspect Rank: [Semi-Divine]
Aspect Description : [You are a loathsome creature hated by both the gods and the -unknown-. Driven mad by the eye of the -unknown-, you continue to satiate your immeasurable greed.]
Innate Aspect: [Stolen Sight]
Ability Description: [You can see the hidden truths of the world. E.g. You can see the light of divinity and peer beneath the surface of souls to see soul cores. You are also rendered immune to sight-based tricks such as illusions or blinding. Your vision is also superior to that of an ordinary awakened, being capable of discerning more details and seeing things clearly from a greater distance.]
Dormant Ability: [Plunder]
Ability Description: [You can enter someone's soul sea through making physical contact with them and steal one thing from them. This could be something tangible, such as an aspect ability, attribute, echo, memory, height, eye colour, etc. or could be something more conceptual like their knowledge of art, or their beauty.]
Awakened Ability: [Vile Nest]
Ability Description: [Your soul sea serves as a nest for the things you steal. You can now store physical objects and living beings inside it. Through physical contact with an object or person, they will disappear into white sparks and appear within your soul sea. It costs essence to move living things into your soul sea, whilst the cost for inanimate objects is next to nothing.]
Ascended Ability: [Distorted Future]
Ability Description: [You have an innate sense for the strings of fate and can see past them to see your imminent future, and can pull on these strings to achieve your desired future.]
Transcendent Form: [A giant bird-like creature with a hunched back, a dishevelled mantle of messy feathers, a terrifying beak and mighty wings. In this form, you can fly and move unrestricted, following your prey wherever they may go. This includes reflections, shadows and soul seas.]
Supreme Domain: [To achieve sovereignty with this aspect, you have to steal the domain of an existing sovereign.]
Flaw: [Facial Blindness]
Flaw Description: [Driven mad by your reflection in the eye of the -unknown-, you are unable to recognise faces, not even your own.]
This is still a work in progress, so I would appreciate feedback. Also, I have taken inspiration from other people's Aspect ideas I've seen in the past on this subreddit, but I couldn't tell you which. I was thinking that the abilities might be too crazy, but later on, Sunny and Mordret seem similarly overpowered, so I thought it would be fine. The mechanics of stealing abilities I haven't worked out yet, and I feel that the flaw isn't bad enough, but I'm not sure. I would appreciate any better flaw ideas. I called the Aspect Rank Semi-Divine because I thought it sounded cool, but also because the VTB wasn't a divine being; he just stole the eye of one and drank a drop of ichor. Let me know if you think it sounds stupid.

Aspect Name: [Dreamwalker]
Aspect Rank: [Sacred]
Aspect Description: [You are a Dreamwalker, the master of a Lesser Dream Domain. Tresspass into the dreams of others and expand your domain.]
Innate Ability: [Lesser Dream Domain]
Ability Description: [Your soul sea is incomprehensibly vast and is the location where all of your dreams take place, existing both within you and in an isolated space somewhere between part of the real world and the Dream Realm. Even when you sleep in the Dream Realm, you will dream and be sent within your Lesser Dream Domain. Within this dream-world, you are in a lucid state and can freely manipulate said dream with your imagination, allowing you to create almost anything. Within this Lesser Dream Domain, your body does not follow the same rules, so it can be oversaturated with your soul essence to achieve greater levels of strength, speed and resilience once you have Awakened (like Jet's undead body). You can transport inanimate objects in and out of your Lesser Dream Domain like it's a storage memory, but only objects originating from outside can leave.]
Dormant Ability: [Dream Walk]
Ability Description: [You can travel through dreams. Within dreams, you're able to gain both soul shards and memories from vanquishing Nightmare Creatures manifested within a creature's subconscious. They are dangerous because, while the threats may not be real, the damage you sustain is. Killing living creatures within their dream will destroy their souls, leaving an empty body behind in both the real world and the Dream Realm if they are a human below the rank of Ascended. Through entering the dreams of a body without a soul, you can influence it as if it were sleepwalking, creating a Pseudo-Echo.
Awakened Ability: [Dream Curse]
Ability Description: [You can lull living beings to sleep and imprison their souls within your Lesser Dream Domain, where you can freely manipulate the dream to your imagination. You are unable to manipulate any living creature imprisoned inside your Lesser Dream Domain, as they are an external force; however, you can use the dream to harm them. If a creature's physical body is destroyed within the Dream Realm or the real world while they're imprisoned within your Lesser Dream Domain, they will become stranded within it as permanent inhabitants.]
Ascended Ability: [Dreamer's Tribute]
Ability Description: [You can surpass the limits of your own soul core by drawing upon the soul essence of the inhabitants of your Lesser Dream Domain. (Has the potential to greatly surpass the reserves of a Divine Aspect holder, as you can potentially draw upon more than seven cores).]
Transcendent Ability: [Dream Manifestation]
Ability Description: [Within a limited sphere of influence surrounding yourself, you can transform the world, merging it with your Lesser Dream Domain, allowing you to freely manipulate it as if it were a dream. Your alterations to the world are temporary, only lasting within your sphere of influence and reverting to its previous state once a specific area has left your physical sphere of influence. (E.g. if you create flowers in a patch of grass, as soon as you walk far enough away, they will disappear into white sparks. If you create a living being, it cannot exist independently of your physical location, disappearing if it strays too far.) You can't affect living beings that do not originate from or inhabit your Lesser Dream Domain, but can materialise inhabitants of it within the real world. You are also able to oversaturate your body with soul essence as if you were in your Lesser Dream Domain.]
Supremacy Path: [Through defeating the wielders of other Lesser Dream Domains (Nightmare and the Dreamscape's creator Saint Thane, etc.), grow your Lesser Dream Domain by incorporating their domain, eventually reaching a Greater Dream Domain.)
Attribute: [Sleepwalker]
Attribute Description: [Whenever you are unconscious or within your Lesser Dream Domain, your body will be in a semi-unconscious state, piloted by your subconscious mind. It is capable of performing non-demanding mental tasks, such as keeping watch whilst you are unconscious and even continuing a fight based on muscle-memory if you have been knocked out.]
I would love some feedback on this Aspect, as well as some possible flaws. I was wondering if it was too overpowered, considering the Ascended ability gives you the potential for crazy amounts of Essence, and the Transcendence is like low-tier reality warping. I tried to add limitations to the Transcendent ability, so I think it's balanced compared to high-tier saints like Sunny, Mordret etc., but I'm open to any feedback.

I made a post asking for random words to make an aspect or memories. What kind of person would be fun with this aspect?
Name: Bessa, Words: Chicanarous and deplorable Churlish and insubordinate
Aspect Name- Big Bad
Aspect Rank- Supreme
Flaw- Awkward Start- you have an awful first impression. (People you first meet will feel as if you killed the person they loved most)
Dormant ability- Your Favorite- can imbue favor into things and increase its affinity with you.
Awakened ability- The Carrot- Temporarily improve an ability or attribute of a target. (More effective when the target does something you like and dislikes you)
Ascended ability- The Stick- Makes a target easier to wound and exacerbates wounds. (More effective when the target does something you dislike and likes you)
Transcendent ability- Thought Bubble- transform thoughts about you into bubbles. These bubbles can be transferred and possibly imbue properties based on the thought.
Supreme ability- Deplorability Instantiated- Realize your subjects’ desires in reality or in the mind of a target.
Domain- includes former willing subordinates (or people that liked her enough) that now hate her and current willing subordinates.
The main way to leave her domain is to like her and give a (metaphorical) resignation letter on decent terms. Gets essence from people that hate her but used to like her. Deplorable, churlish, chicanarous, etc. acts that stem from her also feed her domain.
Note- Abilities are more effective when target has an extreme level of favor for her, positive or negative.

Just made it, because I thought it was funny.
