I made this meme around when Night garden left for Australia through Nephis' dream gate I..e at the start of vol 10 but **who knew** that he was such a fraud. All that build up for what? Getting offscreened?

I am sooo disappointed by how he died. I expected more after how he bypassed Nephis domain and appeared at bastion before the start of mirage city arc. G3 so hyped him but he got even worse ending than Condemnation.

Mordret got so much plot Armor man, I hate how despite being a supreme, sunny had to run from mordret in mirage city and after that Mordret just became a supreme in what? Like 2 chapters? Its unheard of. What did bro even defy??

I know, I know he had to become Supreme somehow but still...

After Condemnation and skinwalker, G3 is hyping up Asterion. **Three supreme titans fearing the return of one supreme beast?** *Plzzz don't let Asterion be a fraud*. Bcoz I am somehow imaging that Asterion will be used and thrown for Cassie supremacy ritual. I hope I'm wrong.

I was not all that impressed at first. I liked the Mercy of Shadow, Shadow Flame, and Curse and the synergy among them. But I was not the most impressed, mainly because of Absence of Light and the lack of enchantments to see through true Darkness (I am still a bit sour about that, but let's not go there for now). But The Chain? Oh boy. I loved that enchantment. Now Sunny can go much farther with Shadow Dance. And weaving the very concept of permanence into an artefact was incredible.

So what are y'all's opinions?

So I was rereading the Cassie reveal during the third nightmare and came across the quote from Cassie

"But... I hope that you make a different choice. That you will stay with us, despite everything. Nephis, I, and the others... are we so terrible? Is it really that unbearable, to share a bond, if it's based on trust? I think you know by now that it's not. What is unbearable is not having been given a choice about forming that bond, and now, even though the connection between you and her will remain the same... it will be there because you have chosen for it to exist. So... you decide. That right is yours, again."

Does this mean that she would have been ok/happier if Sunny had chosen to stay with everyone and not become a weapon of fate? If she was trying to make him choose to be free why would she even say this?

HATE THE DAMN LETTER.
THAT LETTER SHOULD HAVE NEVER EXISTED.
it introduces too many problems and contradictions, it invalidates her attempt at an apology towards sunny.
My explanation for how she even was able to send herself that letter without being unable to read it/remember it due to sunny losing his fate goes as follows:
If something was not written about sunny with the intent targeting his identity then it would not be erased.
think of it like how he can tell rain that she is his sister but nephis and cassie can't know.
It is because they associate the Identity of "rain's brother" with sunny before he lost his fate.
what if simply cassie manipulated someone else into sending her that card but also somehow blocked her memory of having done that...
maybe it goes even further, remember that her corrupted self removed some of her memories...
so it could be that cassie sent the letter herself and then erased her memories of sending the letter inside the tomb of ariel thereby removing the association of the letter with his old identity before he lost his fate.
and as such the letter would not disappear and she would later receive it.
so there is a possibility that she didn't lie to sunny about not knowing what losing his fate would mean because torment removed those memories from her.
but that would require that at some point in time cassie came to know about what sunny losing his fate would lead to and chose to go forward with the plan.
the only thing that throws a wrench in that for me is that she said that she would rather have him stay with them and not lose him.
if she didn't know that he would be forgotten then that separation would most likely be temporary and so they wouldn't truly lose him.
so her reaction doesn't make much sense unless she knows she would forget about him.

I once made a post about why did Shadow God make Sunny his divine shadow, and in it I presented various questions and doubts about this topic.

Now the reason most people gave in that post was that it was due to the mix of various circumstances like the body Sunny was possessing, him having temple slave aspect , him accidentally spilling his blood on the altar, and whatever else there was. These impossible coincidences made it possible.

But you have to understand that Shadow God is not some cheap AI robot who will act in certain way under certain circumstances, he is an individual with ability to think and logical reasoning so he had to have some reason for doing what he did.

The previous reasoning only fulfills the conditions to receive Shadow God's blessing but there is no reason for Shadow God to actually give his blessing assuming that Shadow God is capable of rational thought.

So let me ask this again, why do you think Shadow God made Sunny his divine shadow?

Ive seen A LOT of people saying that noctis will come back at some point in the story and i know its mainly a joke and a funny one at that but i really wanna know if there are so people who actually believe it and why

How difficult would it be for sunny to win against a Great Titan with: 1. Full Power. 2. 1 incarnation and with Saint/Slayer/Serpent (One Of the Three) and all shades. . . . Also, at full power (with all incarnations, memories, shadows, shades) how many Great titans could ge fight at once? 2/3/4? . . .

Also, what's the highest rank and class, he could fight and win against? My guess, A Cursed/Sacred Tyrant at full power with extreme difficulty, with a lot of prep time.

The only thing interesting about it is her aspect legacy, everything else feels like generic MC powers of flames and healing factor, compared to mordret and sunny her aspect doesn't do much other than goving her immense destructive power . The other aspects i find cool are jet and ki song and revel,and also kai. I bet caster would've had a cool aspect if he didn't die ,he was gonna be the wally west of shadow slave

When you really think about it… Sunny carrying Weaver’s forbidden lineage and everything else he’s got going on, and Nephis having enough power to basically nuke a whole nation, You have to wonder what their kid would be like. I mean there already in love and already walking at the edge of what humanity can even comprehend. So what happens if they have a child? A kid born from two of one of the most powerful lineages in history, trained by the strongest humans alive, inheriting not just their skills but everything they experienced(I imagine sunny to be a really protective dad so he'll probably train the hell out of them lol). The kid basically has the potential to be the strongest human in the verse as early as twelve 😭 (Oh and this is just hypothetically since i don't think sunny and nephis would actually decide to have a child since they have alot going on with everything)

Currently she's falling behind the other divine aspect holders

With the reveal of the 9 there names and there goals and the reveal that slayer was alive in the shadow realm for thousands of years as well as Eurys being alive after being cursed by the shadow god as well as Aletheia being the source of the defilement in the Tomb of Ariel still that is 3 of the 9 confirmed to still be alive could there be more?

In recent chapters, Sunny has made a charm to express his powers better, as well as avoid minor inefficiencies in his abilities. He states himself that the gods don’t rely on external tools/abilities to be powerful, as they themselves are power.

One counter argument: The gods are dead, therefore there’s still some kind of blind spot to be exploited. So Sunny’s argument of not relying on external sources of power might be flawed.

So what’s his blind spot?

One might say true darkness, but since he’s dating humanity’s brightest lightbulb, I’d say he’s fine on that front.

The blind spot I see is certain immunities. Don’t get me wrong, Sunny is the more durable sovereign of the 3 we know. However, that doesn’t mean he is immune to the more specific and niches powers.

Currently, Sunny is highly resistant to bleeding out, poison, physical trauma, his soul is reinforced, and the mind is capable of compartmentalizing thousands of times over. These are all general things that cover most dangers, but what about dangers that only the gods face?

Corruption is one, although he can possibly use the 5th shadow dance thanks to [chain] but that’s only hypothetical, it’s still dangerous to use. What about the scene we saw of weaver weaving all the gods soul cores to make the nightmare spell? Is Sunny immune to whatever that is? What about a god possessing his body like how the daemon of dread, Ariel did?

What other blind spots do you think sunny has?

Side note, [chain] reminds me of regressing. No matter what happens to him, he can always just come back to the state he was previously. Shadow Slave is a regression novel confirmed 👍

In my opinion their love is unequal and it always has been. Even if Nephis would not abuse the bond, and given her stance on the nightmare spell that is highly doubtful, who is to say what her stance will be once she advances again.

She is still obsessed megalomaniac who will sacrifice everyone and everything to achieve her goals and rarely listens to other people takes on situation. She just do what she wants and somehow it works out. Keep in mind that she has lost a piece of her humanity every time she advanced and there are two stages left.

Even in her name, changing star, she is ment to change and not all changes are for the better.

I just hope when she and Sunny will travel to the Tomb of Ariel or smth like that her character will develop a tad bit more

I would love some feedback on this Aspect, as well as some possible flaws. I was wondering if it was too overpowered, considering the Ascended ability gives you the potential for crazy amounts of Essence, and the Transcendence is like low-tier reality warping. I tried to add limitations to the Transcendent ability, so I think it's balanced compared to high-tier saints like Sunny, Mordret etc., but I'm open to any feedback.

If sunny receive spirit weave and remember of the life he had his battle with nightmare and the Time he spend as the mad Prince

His spirit will receive the requirements to apotheosis or we will have the return of the mad King and the cohort will have to find a way to be immune to corruption to bring sunless back and we will now the truth that make people corrupted

I was having a convo with a friend about it so i was wondering what people’s opinions on will as a concept is. I personally don’t like it other than the idea of embodying concept.

I find it funny how people used to complain about Rain's POV chapters, and now they actually miss them. ​Do you think the constant daily releases are the reason for all the hate Shadow Slave gets lately?

If Daeron's plan has worked, he would have been a sovereign of an entire realm of Transcendents.

I'm not sure if it would have been enough to save their realm, but it would at least have given them a fighting chance.

Sunny’s Mantle of the Underworld and Saint’s abilities include an ability called Underworld Armament ("This armor can accommodate a Charm Memory to inherit and enhance its enchantments.") What are ways Sunny could better utilize this ability cuz to me it’s pretty useless.
