Finland enjoyed the protection of the American nuclear deturance, which we paid for, before & now that you've finally joined NATO! This is why the Soviet's didn't take all of Finland with their millions of troops & superior military. You'd be speaking Russian without US. FACT. 🤡

And also looks at how Finland developed its infrastructure and society. They still have compulsory conscription after being invaded twice (with no help from outside especially the US) nearly every male under 40 is still eligible to be called up in emergency. Every public building has an emergency nuclear fallout shelter - blasted out of the rock (as there isn’t much soil depth) Finland knows it’s going to be in the front line should anything kick off and was in the front line of the Cold War with very real consequences for its population. Finland spent the Cold War walking a narrow path to not cause the Soviet Union offence, whilst trying to avoid its overbearing influence.
