A possible reason America’s military spending per capita is so high is because their military personnel get free healthcare, and the cost of providing said healthcare is included in the bill.
Elsewhere where there’s universal healthcare, health expenditures aren’t included in military spending.
I'm pretty sure they don't pay the prices quoted for people with insurance, though. Having said that, many people call the US military a giant social(ist) project.
I don’t understand what you are saying here. In America your health insurance is tied to your job so if you work for the US military your healthcare is on their plan.
