It's incredible how completely ignorant they are of even racial demographics in different parts of the world.

259

u/porterpottie May 30 '25

lol I studied and worked in Beijing and the first thing they asked me was what city I was from in the US. I said Chicago, they went “Ohhhhh lots of black people! Scary! Bang Bang! (And pretended to shoot me with finger guns lol) that was the first people I met… so yeah I’d say they don’t know what the fuck they are talking about.

u/ODUrugger May 30 '25

You seen the video of the basketball players getting off the bus in China and all the Chinese are yelling N words at them? That shit doesn't happen in America. China is racist af

26

u/Dubaku May 30 '25

China also banned black people from restaurants in 2020 claiming that they were the ones spreading covid.

4

u/ODUrugger May 30 '25

Yes that's terribly racist. China did many things wrong during covid but I didn't know about that

29

u/[deleted] May 30 '25

I need there ASAP

8

u/ODUrugger May 30 '25

I'm at work. Otherwise, I'd send it. If I remember later, I will

1

u/badDNA May 31 '25

You implying there’s no genocide in Chicago?

1

u/Chris149ny Jun 01 '25

So I guess that’s not just an American thing to do?

75

u/FortunateHominid May 30 '25

Or globally. They don't realize only 10%-16% of the global population is "white". That's with some estimates even lower (below 10%).

43

u/AnHonestConvert White May 30 '25

you don’t have to say "white" like it’s not real. White is real. And it’s a proper noun.

25

u/FortunateHominid May 30 '25

I never said it wasn't. It combines people of many different ethnic groups and ancestry into one monolith.

Sorry if you were offended by my use of quotes.

8

u/AnHonestConvert White May 30 '25

Not really offended; just pointing out that it’s a real racial identity and grouping. Generally, White people are Europeans and their descendants and founded related polities, like the United States, Canada, Australia, etc.

3

u/FortunateHominid May 30 '25 edited May 30 '25

I understand it's a grouping. Though imo it's often used in context which many wouldn't agree with.

Take a few people from Italy, Ireland, Norway, Armenia, Spain, and Scotland. In the US they are all called white. Yet if all are in the same room, they would argue they are different. Not just ethnicity but genetically.

Edit: words

7

u/AnHonestConvert White May 30 '25

I understand that there are edge cases and times where the descriptor isn’t totally accurate, but I can tell you that the current ideologues who don’t like White people are not having difficulty determining who is White.

3

u/FortunateHominid May 30 '25

I understand that there are edge cases and times where the descriptor isn’t totally accurate,

I refer to those as edge cases. I'd say those are the norm.

That is, aside from the US which a good portion are a mix of many different ethnic groups.

but I can tell you that the current ideologues who don’t like White people are not having difficulty determining who is White.

Agree 100%. As a matter of fact, they will even alter the criteria based on what narrative is desired. Hispanics can be grouped in as white in one dataset, yet separated in another.

Even on an individual level in high profile news stories. Take a mixed-race individual (hispanic/white or black/white). What group they use as an identifier while reporting will change based on the narrative they want to push/support.

Those are the reasons I used quotes with the term white. It's becoming subjective at this point. Especially in US politics and news.

4

u/UserNameN0tWitty May 31 '25

Hispanic/White: 1600 on the SATs = Hispanic

Hispanic/White: crime reporting = White

Black/White: 1600 on the SATs = black

Black/White: crime reporting = dark skinned White

3

u/AnHonestConvert White May 30 '25

I understand but I don’t think trying to parse out ethnicity from race is going to help any. The System doesn’t care if I identify as German and you identify as Polish (or whatever). I’m White, and Whiteness is a real thing even if people try to monkey around with the definition. I mean, shitlibs will change the definition of any word for an advantage.

1

u/MachineMan718 Jun 02 '25

The concept of white being all pale Europeans is a relatively recent concept. It used to be just the English (and Scots, sometimes) were “white”.

Irish were excluded from that list, as well as Welsh, Italians, and Slavs.

2

u/AnHonestConvert White Jun 02 '25

By recent you mean since the 1700s?

That doesn’t invalidate the identity, anyway.

1

u/MachineMan718 Jun 02 '25

Irish were considered separate from “the white race” well into the early 20th century.

And yes, 1700s is recent compared to the many thousands of years of tribalism.

It’s embarrassing that I know all of this but the original comic is from a guy called stonetoss who makes comics that I’d say boil down to “most people are thinking it but no one says it” (but also goes too far frequently) and that sub takes his comics and re writes the captions and edits the panels to make them look like the opposite message than originally intended

3

u/MachineMan718 Jun 02 '25

I love pebble yeet for the simple fact leftoids get so triggered by him.

u/LayYourGhostToRest May 30 '25

I watched a video not long ago about a black family that moved to Africa and they hated it lol. They were being told to go back to America.

66

u/KingC-way425 The Blackface of White Supremacy May 30 '25 edited May 30 '25

There was also a video of a black woman who moved to an African country to “escape racism and colonization” and then immediately regretted it after discovering how terrible the conditions were there.

Almost as if the African continent isn’t this “Motherland” that plenty of black Americans glorify it to be

3

u/monkeygoneape May 31 '25

It could be though, it just needs the infrastructure and stable government it's still. Very resource rich

4

u/MachineMan718 Jun 02 '25

Not in its current political configuration. Tribal loyalties still trump national identity.

37

u/Sqyrl May 30 '25

From what I recall when I was in Africa, it's because sure their ancestors got a raw deal, but their descendents might as well been born with a golden spoon.

Meanwhile Africa just continues to be shit show.

It's like a rich person going into the ghetto and claiming to be one of them, when they're absolutely not.

11

u/slayer_of_idiots May 30 '25

Nearly every other country I’ve been to is far more racist than America.

3

u/chillthrowaways Jun 06 '25

I used to work with a few African immigrants, they hate American black people, and they’re not shy about it.

120

u/Shadeylark May 30 '25

Look at the Olympic teams for every other country in the world and then compare them to our Olympic teams... Then come back and tell me about how we're the ones who are against diversity and hate others.

30

u/NotAnotherRedditAcc2 May 30 '25

Well... every other not-western-Europe country, anyway.

1

u/FB-22 Jun 03 '25

I assume they meant every other country in the world besides white countries. Since the meme says “white countries”

11

u/zrock44 May 30 '25

We're so pro-diversity that we'll put up with gruesome crime and obvious white hatred just to not look racist!

8

u/desterion May 30 '25

The France national soccer team only has a single token white guy aside from the manager.

1

u/FB-22 Jun 03 '25

France is among the white countries this crappy meme is referring to

242

u/molotok_c_518 May 30 '25

Let's ask the whites in South Africa (the ones that haven't been killed by their black countrymen, that is) how accurate that meme is at the moment. Their answer will likely astound the artist.

53

u/TheJimReaper6 May 30 '25

Or Rui Hachimura a half Japanese, half Beninese NBA player who has talked about the racial prejudice he’s faced in Japan.

23

u/TheWheatOne May 30 '25

Just to show how bad it is, the people who actually experience this are being shadowbanned from showing it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8pEGA1yhUk

55

u/hkusp45css May 30 '25

That's different. Any white people in South Africa are villains and deserve whatever they get for having the misfortune to have been born into the system their parents and grandparents created, whether or not they agree with the system and whether or not they want to just leave.

Nope. Can't let them leave, can't let them live. What's a society to do?

It's all very tiresome to hear other people who've never been outside their home county lecture the rest of us on foreign cultures.

-29

u/Ed_Radley May 30 '25

You could say literally the same thing about Australia, so how come one has dwindled to 7% of the country's population while the other is still up around 57%?

25

u/hkusp45css May 30 '25

You want me to compare the social structure of 2 separate countries and explain why they have different outcomes? And you want me to do it in a reddit post?

Maybe it makes sense to discuss what we were discussing until comparison has some value.

-38

u/Ed_Radley May 30 '25

Sounds like Australian colonization apologizing to me 🤷🏼‍♂️

25

u/hkusp45css May 30 '25

Your inability to understand what is being said isn't really something I am prepared to help you with. Perhaps I could convince you to go back to grammar school or something.

30

u/XenoX101 May 30 '25

The infographic is accurate in showing that there are far more Black/Asian/Latino/etc. in white countries than the reverse. The Asian and Black countries don't need to say "Go back to your country", because they don't let them in in the first place.

23

u/rocksnstyx May 30 '25

Everyone else is allowed to maintain their demographic and cultural identities except western nations for some reason

3

u/MachineMan718 Jun 02 '25

Dipshit globo-homos who think because the US can handle being diverse, all white nations can.

17

u/Liedvogel May 30 '25

I wonder how Africa is doing these days?

13

u/Empirednw1555 May 30 '25

Lol Asians hate blacks with a burning passion. Also African blacks also hate whites with the same burning passion. This poster is delusional.

12

u/LacCoupeOnZees May 30 '25

Asian countries, famous for being crazy woke and racially tolerant

10

u/DarkDiamond0756 May 30 '25

I'm Preeeetty sure white folks are not having a great time in south africa rn. And if liberals think white people are all racist, their brains would explode upon finding out how racist asians are. If white people are casually racist, asians play in competitive racism, especially towards other asians. No one hates asians more than other asians.

-16

u/NoAlternative7986 May 30 '25

White folks in South Africa are doing far better than any of the other races here, and the purchasing power of european immigrants is insane

9

u/AmebaLost United States of America or none May 30 '25

"White folks in South Africa are doing far better than any of the other races here"

And, why would that be?

-12

u/NoAlternative7986 May 30 '25

Lot's of reasons, more entrepreneurial culture, better education, historical wealth etc. I assume you're saying the reason is intrinsic superiority, and I think it is very hard to compare how much impact that has compared to systematic factors . Regardless, it is not true that white South Africans are having a comparatively bad time.

8

u/AmebaLost United States of America or none May 30 '25

There are reports of farmers being removed from their property, then the farm goes to waste. This results in less food. A lie?

-9

u/NoAlternative7986 May 30 '25

Yeah, we do have laws which allow for land expropriation by the state and this is mostly used for farmland, idk if that's what you're referring to. I don't think this has had a significant impact on the total food production

3

u/Dubaku May 30 '25

I thought most of the white people in SA were born there, not immigrants.

1

u/NoAlternative7986 May 31 '25

They are, I just thought it was relevant as the post was about immigrants. What I was saying is white people in general have better lives than the average here, and white immigrants are even better off

16

u/[deleted] May 30 '25 edited May 30 '25

Whoever made this has clearly never left their college dormroom. Jesus Christ, Reddit.

Asian countries aren’t diverse because they don’t want to be. Go try immigrating to China, Japan, or South Korea and see how long you last before you hit a wall of legal and cultural exclusion. These countries are explicitly proud of being homogenous. China literally has internal ethnic cleansing going on and tightly controls who gets citizenship. In Japan, you'll be an outsider till the day you die, even if you marry in and speak perfect Japanese.

The same goes for Africa. Not only are most African countries not racially diverse, but even among Black Africans, tribal and ethnic tensions are rampant. Just Google xenophobia in South Africa and get back to me. People get beaten in the streets for being from the wrong African country.

Now contrast that with the so-called white countries. The US, UK, Canada, France, Germany are all among the most diverse nations on the planet. The only reason this artist can make this dumb cartoon is because white-majority countries actually let people in.

When tensions do rise, it's not just because of white racism. It's because mass migration without shared culture or assimilation eventually causes conflict, and that is everywhere (white or not). Do you think Nigerians love Chinese migrants buying up land and businesses in Lagos? Do you think Koreans are handing out DEI pamphlets to Bangladeshis? Hell, have you even seen American blacks and African blacks and seen the level of clash they have in thebsinplest of conversations here in America?

16

u/KingC-way425 The Blackface of White Supremacy May 30 '25

I can tell OOP has never went to a “non-white” country.

6

u/hamstercheifsause May 30 '25

Wait till OP find out what’s going on in Africa, and Asia for that matter

12

u/dirigo1820 May 30 '25

Yeah those Asian countries well known for their diversity.

11

u/VinnysMagicGrits May 30 '25

LMAO Asians hate black people, especially the ones who act black. They don't tolerate that shit, if you are black and are acting appropriately in said Asian country, American blacks would call that black person acting white.

4

u/zuul99 Ukraine not "The Ukraine" May 30 '25

China and Japan are VERY xenophobic and they have not been very accepting to black American visitors.

Look up the Chinese version of the Star Wars movie poster with Finn and compare it to the American one.

4

u/EmergencyIced May 30 '25

Jarvis, show me crime statistics on race related to Asian hate sorted by highest to lowest prevalence

2

u/Carcinog3n May 30 '25

Who ever made this has never been to a black majority country and is shows.

6

u/PersimmonPurple2227 May 31 '25

The Black countries one is missing the one white person being lynched

3

u/InksPenandPaper May 30 '25

Did they miss the part where those the non-homogeneous group immigrated legally?

I also find the lack of white representation in the illegal immigrant group to be a bit misleading. Sure, they don't make up a large portion but they do exist. They make up about 3% of the illegal immigrants in the US and should be fairly represented in the depicted comic.

As a side note the only time I ever saw been illegal immigrant detained by ICE was on a Greyhound ride back from San Diego to Los angeles. We were stopped and selected to be checked. Everyone on the bus provided identification and the last person, at the back of the bus, was an Australian man who had a Visa that had expired in the 90s.

It was a surreal moment because he thought he could just sort of wave them off. When they told him to exit the bus with them he started to panic and they dragged him off. It was wild to see the the blondest man with the bluest eyes being who was also an illegal immigration.

3

u/Any-Attorney9612 May 30 '25

Not that it's ok either but I like that in their examples the other countries maintain a healthy majority of their native population but for the White countries is 55%+ foreign replacement....

3

u/JaedLDee May 30 '25

And yet, Trump’s approval ratings amongst Hispanics is actually up compared to his last term.

3

u/Racheakt USA May 30 '25

2

u/Pisceswriter123 May 31 '25

Shhh. Don't show them that clip from China where they are yelling the 'N' word at the basketball players as they get off the bus. Also don't tell them about Liberia - the country where citizenship depends on your skin colour.

2

u/kinglennie May 31 '25

Holy ZERO perception of reality Batman! It seems they don’t know how racist Asian countries actually are!

2

u/No_Assistant_3202 Jun 04 '25

Asians famously not at all racist against black people and vice versa.

2

u/tjsoul Conservative Chicagoan Jun 05 '25
