For some reason I get AskReddit and CMV suggested when I'm scrolling on mobile, and those subs are full of people asking ridiculously loaded questions that do nothing but fear-monger.
One person, who wasn't even American, asked (in CMV) others to convince them that eventually Democrats won't get rounded up in the street and outright killed or detained. Another person said that the Big Beautiful Bill is going to prevent her from moving out of her parents' house (which just seems like an excuse than an actual reason)
People can have their concerns, but good lord the amount of hyperbole is insane. If these are real people (and that's a big if), they're lives must be miserable with how much they work themselves into a lather over things that won't even really affect them that much.
