"Overproduction in China has lead to slashed prices" because god forbid we just acknowledge that supply and demand actually works, provided you aren't deliberately price gouging.

I love that they've framed this as a negative about 'overproduction' rather than saying something like 'economies of scale and increased efficiency has allowed China to sell their products at a much lower price point and African countries are reaping the benefits'

The most gorgeous beaches along the Western coast of Africa has been for many many decades COVERED in disgusting garbage from the USA and Europe.

It's Western corporations that have been dumping everything from substandard products to second hand clothing to literal toxic waste on Africa for 100+ years.

China makes new energy tech affordable for developing regions, and they call it dumping.
