Just joined this sub and ironically I also drew a lizard (iguana) on Friday. Not nearly as good as yours though haha. I really like your scales, I'm definitely going to work on those and my proportions more(don't look at that front leg haha).
I am just like you but with people. I can draw animals in any way possible but cant draw a human properly. Between proportions and features its a nightmare.
Earlier this week I got to stay at a resort with my dad’s side of the family (we haven’t gone away together in at least 15 years so it was super nice). The lake was like 5-10 feet at most but there were still lots of cool fish to see. Loads of baby fish, and sunfish but the odd Largemouth would surprise me with its hugeness every once in a while haha
2 quick gestures for a character I've been working on for my third year in uni. They aren't very good but I don't have much time today.
She's a street footballer, and very athletic and skillful. Quick on her feet so she can outmaneuver her bigger and stronger opponents. Not really figured out her hair yet or her facial features, and the arms of the hoody are giving me trouble when it comes to drawing her from different perspectives, but I like the shape when she's at rest that you can see in the left image. Need to Stylize it more and make it animatable. Happy with the pants, nice and simple. If anyone has any advice for simplyfying this design even more I'd love to hear it! :)
This week's characters from my anthro WWII storyline are Emmerich (first/last name never given) and his mother. They show up briefly near the beginning of the main storyline when Corporal Drake runs across them while lost in the Wald; Emmerich is a deserter who Drake communicates with. There'll be more about them later in my art Tumblr and Toyhou.se.
Regarding their designs, Emmerich is hairless (I figured, why not), and yeah, his mother has weird hair, not sure how I feel about it. Anyway.
