WesternEurope [WesternEurope] Chairlift App to find SkiBuddies

I know it's not quite the right season, but I just launched Chairlift App: a free new app to help solo skiers and snowboarders connect before hitting the mountain. You can create or join 'chairlifts' based on skill level and age range. Built by riders, totally free, no ads, just trying to make it easier to ride more and meet cool people. I just added an 'Aprés' section to meet up with others to make a aprés-ski party.

Well. I downloaded it. It doesn't even have my state as an option under the U.S. So uninstalled. Good idea. Poor execution.

What state? What resorts? Dude, this is a work in progress. I can add resorts where needed but wanted to concentrate on the main ones first.

Michigan. No offense, but if it's a work in progress it wasn't ready for launch. You only get one chance for a first impression. Every person that downloads the app and finds it disappointing is a customer you lost. And the ones that are most enthusiastic are the first ones in. If you've lost them you definitely aren't keeping the ones that come in later as somewhat interested.

It’s July. Riding soon? Soft launch. This is the time to get feedback. So I actually appreciate your comments. What mountains do you want on there? I’ll put them up tomorrow morning. We are also giving away a season pass on our IG. Team of two, no budget, please be patient, but we’ll make it happen.

Boyne, Pine, Highlands and Crystal added, more MI resorts coming soon this eve. (we be motivated)

Appreciate it. Sorry about being abrupt. I believe it could be a great thing if people get onboard. Some hills that would be great for my area would be Caberfae, Holly, Alpine Valley, Pine Knob and Mt. Brighton.

when i made my account it auto joined 3 resorts and i can’t leave them, not that it really matters but i want to only be joined to resorts i actually go to

You should be able to go to the resort page and just click the Joined button and it will unjoin you. Thanks!
