How do i connect with my higher self?

I heard of people puttiing an intent before starting a meditation session.

but, yes i do not have much to say really, i hope the mods won't delete this, thank you in advance.

EDIT: I am basically looking for assurance relating my future and something I am doing, so basically i am looking for a clear sign from my greater self

The more you meditate, the more you start seeing those signs you're looking to see. keep at it!
