NASA This picture of Neptune shows the “Great Dark Spot” and was taken by Voyager 2 less than five days before the probe’s closest approach of the planet on Aug. 25, 1989. No other spacecraft has visited Neptune since.

This is the Cygnus wall, located in the bottom half of the North America nebula (NGC7000). Surprisingly, this isn’t taken with a monochrome camera. This was captured with an ASI585mc pro, combined with a dual band filter and an SII filter. It’s around 8 hours of total exposure time across two nights.

Camera: ASI585mc pro

Telescope: SVBONY SV503 70ED

Mount: Star Adventurer GTi

Art/Render Artwork 579: Sh 2-235

Post image
16 Upvotes

Sh 2-235 is a massive star-forming complex and HII region located in the Perseus spiral arm of the Milky Way, within the constellation Auriga. In visible light, it appears as a small amber-colored dust cloud, but infrared observations reveal an enormous complex, spanning more than 100 light-years, filled with intense star formation. For this artwork of Sh 2-235, I ended up spending more time creating the stars than on the nebula itself.

Time Taken: 13 minutes

Program Used: Paint dot NET
