Help With Spell Requested I jinxed myself, and now I have a bug infestation
Hi all, I moved to a tropical climate 11 months ago, an area known for pests that last all year round because they never die off in the winter. When I moved here, I refused to talk about This Bug because I didn’t want to jinx it and get them. For 9 months, I never brought up these bugs and my apartment in the same conversation, and never had a problem. I am an EXTREMELY clean person, obnoxiously so, and nothing about my lifestyle has changed. I have a roommate, but she hasn’t changed either. We had a huge B52 (terrifying species of this bug) that got in a month or so ago, and I began talking about it. It was a one off, but it was our first, so I felt that our luck had ended. But I wasn’t careful with my words, so I think the jinx started. Suddenly, I am seeing juvenile cr**s in my kitchen. Two days have passed, they are teenagers now. I called our landlord, but they follow me everywhere now. Anywhere I go where I have never seen These Bugs before, I’m finding them everywhere… so it feels like it’s more of a Me thing, rather than a My Home thing. I’ve looked up how to remove jinxes, but I’m not sure if I need to remove the jinx from myself or something else. I don’t think it’s a curse on me, I think it’s just something I jinxed. This is too specific of a problem to google, and all of my friends who do witchcraft live in a different climate and have never run into this problem. Please help. I literally don’t know what to do and no one believes me.

“I revoke all accidental manifestations, jinxes, or spells made through fear or thought. I collapse all mirrors, echoes, and distortions. I seal my field and return all parasites to source, drained and mirrored.”

Edit out the personal info like ages please. Scammers and trolls on Reddit just bounce on that stuff.

Edit: EAEAAUUUGH! x_x;;;; (Sorry! Sorry. That happens every time I have to think about them. I have a thing about them the same way some folks have a thing about spiders or snakes or the dark. But I also have......experience I'd rather not go into detail about, so......here you go.)
Original:
So, here's the thing, especially if you live in a tropical area:
Those giant cockroaches (the kind that can fly and such) are more active in summer than any other time of year. I doubt you jinxed yourself, as they aren't the type to invade just because of uncleanliness; they invade because your house is there.
Check the species of trees around and near your property. There are certain types they are drawn to and like to nest in. Sometimes, if the tree is overhanging your home, they will lose their grip, fall, and make their way inside.
From my understanding, it's not these big mamma jammas that accompany untidy conditions, but more the little "water bugs" that do. (I'm not a entomologist, though, so I could be wrong, but from my experience, this seems to be the case.)
In short, they don't really want to be in your house anymore than a lizard or a bird or a snake does, but they can get in through nooks and crannies you would never think.
It is not a reflection on your cleanliness habits! Sometimes nature just do be happening, especially in tropical and semi-tropical areas in the summer. In fact - and I fully appreciate how ironic this may sound - one of the cleaning products or smell-goods you use may be what's attracting them. It isn't always about food.
TL;DR: You aren't jinxed, and these aren't the type of roaches to be attracted to uncleanliness. Check the kinds of trees you have on and around your property, and research whether they are nesting grounds for that species, as well as research what smells they are attracted to.

Yeah it is those big guys 😔 we just don’t have any trees near us, I live in the downtown area and I haven’t seen many in this area, so it feels very sudden. It is late summer here, and I moved here in the early fall last year, so I do think the time makes sense. It just feels like the timing of the infestation was the last punch in the face during a whole lot of other personal shit. And they’re babies, so I’m worried that it’s more than just a few that got in somehow. Also, they’re the baby Big Ones and*** baby Little Ones… so idk. I told my landlord and my roommate and I are doing our best to manage it until then, so I’m doing the normal things as well, but just in case I AM jinxed, I want to take that precaution as well. But thank you for knowing exactly what I was talking about- they’re such terrifying little creatures 🤝

They aren't the best. lol I have a long-standing grudge and hatred towards them! But birds and other more lovely animals eat them, so....pfft.
Even if you don't have trees, they can get in. Summer makes bugs go nuts, no matter how urban the environment. It gets worse the longer summer goes, so it might not be a bad idea to, if you can afford it and get the landlord to go along with it, get an exterminator. OTOH, keeping a can of RAID can help, too.
I'm sorry about your personal stuff, too! :( The suckers aren't a joy to deal with at the best of times!
Like I said, though, find out exactly what species they are (you'll be surprised how many there are), what they are drawn to, and the best way to get rid of them.
Seriously though, August is the worst month for heat in a lot of places. I live in the American Deep South, and it is brutal every year! Feels hotter than Satan's butthole. x_x;; But Mama Nature LOOOOOVES it! All the bugs, all the plants, all the birds, lizards, snakes.....all of them! Just happy as clams in sand.
Anyways, enough of my ranting. lol I wish you good luck getting rid of them! Definitely nothing wrong with doing a de-jinxing if you want, in addition to the other stuff!

Oh I used to live in the south and I just went home for a visit and it was brutal- not sure why I thought it’d be better in a landlocked area in a valley, but I couldn’t go outside!! There’s at least AC there, that’s important.

For real!
I meant to tell you after our last interaction that that kind of critter also has some positive symbolism and some paths. Maybe it means something more positive than negative! Something interesting to look up anyway. 🙂

A jinx is just a saying and not to be taken seriously. Bugs will be bugs, and since you live in a warm year-round climate, it's bound to occur to have bugs in your home. Heck house spiders are normal, and every home around the world has some kind of bug. There are more bugs on the planet than people. Google it.

It's not a jinx. When you live in certain environments, you get certain bugs.
This isn't something that needs a spell.

The only two things I know that will resolve that problem are pesticides and an exterminator. But if you're afraid of going the chemical route try diatomaceous earth.
