I jinxed myself, and now I have a bug infestation

Hi all, I moved to a tropical climate 11 months ago, an area known for pests that last all year round because they never die off in the winter. When I moved here, I refused to talk about This Bug because I didn’t want to jinx it and get them. For 9 months, I never brought up these bugs and my apartment in the same conversation, and never had a problem. I am an EXTREMELY clean person, obnoxiously so, and nothing about my lifestyle has changed. I have a roommate, but she hasn’t changed either. We had a huge B52 (terrifying species of this bug) that got in a month or so ago, and I began talking about it. It was a one off, but it was our first, so I felt that our luck had ended. But I wasn’t careful with my words, so I think the jinx started. Suddenly, I am seeing juvenile cr**s in my kitchen. Two days have passed, they are teenagers now. I called our landlord, but they follow me everywhere now. Anywhere I go where I have never seen These Bugs before, I’m finding them everywhere… so it feels like it’s more of a Me thing, rather than a My Home thing. I’ve looked up how to remove jinxes, but I’m not sure if I need to remove the jinx from myself or something else. I don’t think it’s a curse on me, I think it’s just something I jinxed. This is too specific of a problem to google, and all of my friends who do witchcraft live in a different climate and have never run into this problem. Please help. I literally don’t know what to do and no one believes me.
