Discussion I have a question, how did Holo got enough money to buy the Beret? Spoiler
I didn't read the LN so idk if it was mentioned there, but I'm not sure they mention it in the Anime, so how did she got it ?

I think my English is failing me, as I don't understand what you mean with beret here. I only know it as a hat, but Holo isn't wearing a hat.

You're right. I'm not sure what OP means. They might mean the cloak, since the feathers could just be collected from a bird.

In that picture, those specific feathers were indeed from one specific bird. I'm sure Holo either didn't have to buy them at all, or keenly negotiated them as part of her pyrite purchase.

Bro sorry that I'm watching the show in Arabic so I don't know the rocks name in English 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I guess it was my Arabic that failed me then. D:
But yeah, as others mentioned, the pyrite was bought on credit. I'm not sure if it's explicitly mentioned in the LN, or left implied there as well.

Can you tell us a little more about what you mean? I don't recall Holo ever wearing a Beret. I mean if Holo wants to sport a raspberry beret, the kind you'd find in a second hand store. I am totally here for it
Do you mean her cloak that she is wearing in the picture you included in your post? Or do you mean her Kerchief that she wears when she isn't wearing her cloak?

Please don't feel bad. No ill will was intended. We all legitimately did not understand the question. In English Iron Pyrite is also commonly known as Fool's Gold. Which is actually very appropriate for this story given just how foolish everyone behaves. Does Iron Pyrite have a similar name in Arabic?

Google translate transcribes it as "albirit". So remove the "al" (just means "the" afaik) and replace the 'i' with 'e' (they sound similar), and you end with "beret".
So once you know where the mistake is coming from it's obvious...

That makes perfect sense. I was wondering if there is a colloquial term in Arabic for Iron Pyrite similar to Fool's Gold in English though

To put it very simply... Holo bought it on credit from Diana, meaning she didn't spend any money.
The anime makes this abundantly clear... but just to recap... Diana tells Lawrence that someone (Holo) had just bought her entire stock of pyrite on credit, but that if Lawrence were willing to pay more, she would contact the buyer and see if he would resell it to Lawrence. Lawrence accepts, and she says that if she can convince the buyer, she will deliver the pyrite to Lawrence the next day.
The next day, we see Holo disappearing at the same time as Diana's emissary arrives at the market, presumably because he first delivered the Pyrites to Holo and then told Lawrence that the buyer didn't want to resell them.

From the other comments, I assume beret means pyrite.
We don't actually have an official, undisputed answer on that. Neither the anime nor the LN tell us how she actually paid for it, but we can assume she didn't have to. We know it was Diana who made up the story about another buyer, so I just assumed she gave the pyrite for free just to watch the Lawrence/Holo drama unfold.

Diana mentions in the LN that the buyer (Holo) bought on Credit / made an Order, meaning, that Holo didn't pay directly, but probably used the money from the pyrite sell.
