I know it isn't as good as the old one but it is still good imo and we got volume 4 which was skipped in the old one and we are even getting a second season and if it is as long as season 1 we would have covered half of the light novel which I think is amazing and is something we dont see alot these days

Apologies, this is probably been asked a dozen times over the last year, but how long do you think we have to wait for Season 2?

Just finished the anime and i loved it sadly the manga seems to not have been completely translated so I want to read the light novel but can't seem to find it anywhere i will be thankful if you know where I can find it and the prequel too

As I promised, there's the unboxed Wolf and the Scent of fruits figure ! The amount of details is just insane, the figure is from very high quality. I'm literally in love with the hair and tail's details. The dress is also very well made ! I also found in my local "geek" store this Trio Try It figure of Holo ! This one was on my wishlist since a long time so I bought it haha. It's from a cheaper quality but it's still very cute haha.

I read the ranobe about 4ā5 years ago, and I really loved the story. Would it be nice to read the manga to experience the story again, this time with visuals, or would it be better to read Wolf & Parchment?

To preface this will be filled with spoilers. I donāt know exactly what books as I havenāt read them so if you arenāt caught up to the and donāt want to be spoiled I wouldnāt read the post.
So Iām currently watching the anime remake and have been loving it so far. This is my first interaction with the story and all I know so far. I just finished up the third arc and what I belief is the end of the third book. And I have some questions or concerns about the progression of their relationship.
Donāt get me wrong I have no problem with it so far I just have a feeling I know how itās going to go and want to see if Iām right.
This arc was centered almost solely around their relationship. It was great and I thought it was an interesting conflict between them but when it ended it kinda just ended. I feel like we went through so much just for them to say not a whole lot. And I donāt think it really showed a lot either as in itās not specifically the dialogue Iām talking about. All that ended up happening was Laurence saying he cared about her, which was important in context but I honestly expected more. Iām aware itās technically on me for expecting more but still.
Now Iām not saying I needed a confession there but I feel like this is predictive of the paving for the rest of the story. So how slow or fast is the progression? I know they eventually get married and have a child. But there is almost 20 more novels not covered in the anime so far and while Iāll still read them regardless of the answer I hope they donāt wait till the end of the main story or vol 17 to get together.
I think the progression has been perfectly fine so far and I could see stretching it to maybe book 7 at max 8 to where I would start getting frustrated. So Iām fine with light spoilers just let me know if you think Iāll be frustrated or not and the pace of the relationship as a whole. And maybe what volume or volumes they get together or start getting really close.
Also by get together I mean be in a relationship and act like it, like their should be a decently clear difference. I donāt just mean kissing or sleeping together by being together.

I have been on a romance anime kick recently. I don't know where it came from and I don't know why romance stories have been something I'm interested in lately, but I saw on a video or maybe on reddit someone recommend this anime. I started watching the original anime not realizing they had recently begun remaking the series, of which now I am eternally grateful even though I have not watched it yet.
I love the way anime's can really draw out my emotions and how as a medium it invokes such feelings in me. I find the story of Holo and Lawerence incredibly captivating. The characters feel so well written, the setting and subject matter are such a stark departure from most of what I have watched before that I instantly fell in love with the whole thing. While I had been thoroughly enjoying this anime the feeling that were evoked during the Pyrite arc were so visceral it was surprising to even me. The not knowing how things were going to play out, the hurt I felt when it seemed like Holo was considering leaving Lawerence, the fear he had bubbling to the surface, the scenes of him imagining Amarti with her were rage inducing. I know that feeling, I know the feeling of thinking the person you love is happier being with another person, that you see them in your head together everytime you close your eyes and the ways in which it rips your heart out. I really liked the show but over those episodes is when I found out that I knew I loved the show.
Knowing they never fully adapted the novels made me so sad, I legitimately hate when an anime gets cancelled and we never see the story's conclusion after we've invested our time with those characters and their world. When I heard that they did a remake and that they were planning on continuing and adapting all the light novels I was so happy, so even though I havent watched the remake yet because I became hooekd on the original and I absolutely late 90s early 00's animation I am so glad that some day I may get to see the conclusion of the story in animated form.
Until then I have a bunch of banked audible credits, and I had heard the audio books are available so it seems like I know where my saved credits are going.
This was a long post to say a bunch of stuff the people of this sub already know too well, but I just wanted to show my appreciation for a show that is easily now in my top 10 if not top 5.

As the title suggests I canāt decide whether to get the anniversary edition which collects volumes 1-17 in a nice leather bound. Or if I should just collect each individual volume. I love owning and buying the books I read so ideally both but Iām not that rich.
They come out to about the same price so I kinda just want other peoples opinions since Iām having trouble deciding.

My first Holo figure. It wasn't my first pick for a Holo figure, but all the other ones are either sold out, pre-order, or crazy expensive. I'm pretty happy with this one though; lines are crisp, no mold marks, feels good and heavy/solid.

Little bigger than the other recent plushie release, about the same size as the hand puppets. Super cute! šŗ

Got both S1 and S2 with this set, which also doubles as my first ever Blu-Ray purchase (even though I don't have that player).

I have a question for everyone. Has anyone who ordered the new watches have any issues with shipping? Apparently they have tried to deliver mine and cant so its at the distribution center, only problem is the tracker says the watch is in Iowa when I live in Pennsylvania. The address is correct and this isnt the first time it got the GPS stuff mixed up.
I was just wondering if I'm having a unique problem or if others have had issues with this too. Hope everyone who ordered a watch gets theirs with no issues and enjoys it.

Hi! I'm looking for some manga/light novels to read and I really liked the spice and wolf anime. The anime is getting another season and I do not wish to be spoiled. Is wolf and parchment a good option? Or does it go into the plot of spice and wolf as well?
Thanks in advance :D

This is beautiful, but so expensive. They also announced Lumione Gold Coin Coasters.
I see Bourbon Holo pancakes in my future š¤£

I finally acquired my 53rd figure (1/4 Yoshitoku Holo) and currently have 2 other figures on the way. Trying to find a case for her was a little hard but fun to, she's big af. Btw, I bet you won't know where I got the case from as well, lol.
