DAE get any warrior/rogue/mage vibes from Mio and Zoe and their constantly shifting abilities in each chapter?
Like Neon Revenge and Hope of Spring had Mio and Zoe as cyber ninjas and shapeshifters, respectively, both different variations of the rogue class in most RPG's. Cyber ninjas are especially resourceful for stealth, but for shapeshifters, it's mostly in association with the trickster archetype in most fantasy literature, and the way a standard shapeshifter is usually a trickster in much of the same way as a rogue or cyber ninja.
For Final Dawn and Rise of the Dragon Realm, Mio and Zoe are super soldiers and dragon riders, respectively, and are thus essentially the warriors. Their super soldier forms are a lot more well-armored than their cyber ninja forms, and they go guns ablazing rather than stealthy like their cyber ninja forms. And in their dragon rider forms, they obviously take cues from knights, with their dragons as steeds and the swords they'd eventually gain for their boss fight against the megalith.
And for Isolation and The Hollow, they're drone operators and light mages, respectively, essentially being, well, the mages, or engineers in the case of drone operators. And they're both the brains of the six different power sets, compared to stealth and trickster qualities in the case of their cyber ninja and shapeshifter forms, and strength and durability in the case of their super soldier and dragon rider forms.
Anyone notice this, yourselves?
