Discuss How long did it take you to reach perfection?

pic of my house in year two for attention. I’m a chronic restarter, i hate that about myself, but that dopamine rush hits too good. I’m on my longest save file now and would love to reach perfection! i think having a general timeline would prevent me from starting a new save

Never have, and not something I'm after. I've put A LOT of hours into this game but I think I still fall in the Casual Player category. My husband is nearing perfection now and he has hundreds of hours- probably upwards of 500 and two main playthroughs without any mods.

Edit to say maybe don't do a timeline but line up the achievements maybe? Like 1) Reach bottom of the mines 2)Complete community center 3) Reacg floor 100 in Skull Caverns and so on. If you're not worried about late game spoilers, just looking up big events and stuff and making an achievement list could be helpful in sticking with one save.

the only problem i have with making goals is that once it’s a goal, it feels like a demand that i HAVE to do. it doesn’t feel like a fun choice anymore. it’s so frustrating because logically, that’s a great idea.
