Or maybe (just maybe) the guy literally left his car running. I mean since all three of them are pointing to their right I am assuming that's where the running car is. Remember this was a comic aimed at kids--not "The Dark Knight Returns."

Some people really have to reach really hard to try to find some "superdickery."
