Most comfortable swimming goggles
I'm getting into swimming (v beginner) and I need a good goggle rec! I have migraines and a lot of eye pain on a day to day so trying to find the most comfortable goggle that won't make this worse. I have a bigger head too if that helps. Thanks in advance!

too personal and specific to be able to recommend easily. you just have to try them on to see if it fits

As mentioned, goggles are like running shoes - each person is different and what works for one may not work for another. The best bet is to try on multiple pairs.
If you get headaches, the straps may be too tight.

I also get migraines and love my speedo vanquishers with adjustable nose bridge. I actually dont have the straps too tight and rely mostly on suction to keep them in place

I use big goggles because I have a large forehead. Do remember to purchase anti fog sticker used for side mirrors when purchasing the goggles. Stick the stickers inside the goggles and get the cheap ones, you don't have to spend 100s of dollars on goggles.

Lifelong daily lap swimmer and my Biofuse are the most comfy ever. First pair I'd leave in car so our heat might have damaged as the gaskets cracked in less than year. So second pair I've brought in the house after swims and so far so good.
As to migraines, if you are not talking about a ocular migraine. I had about two years of those horrid things in my earlier 60s. Never had them before so maybe my body chemistry changed. Docs couldn't figure it out. So I studied the f*ck out it and came across journal entries about Parkinson's and cheese, how on certain drugs that triggered migraines which taught me about tyramines, which are naturally occurring in foods as a biproduct of decay, fermenting, etc. So I cut out all the delicious cheeses, jams, I already did not eat smoked meats as i don't eat meats, but breads (maltodextrin, yikes). It's stunning in how many foods these migraine causing little bastid wind up.
My migraines were always the day after I ate something wrong, after I'd wake up. Boom, Migraine. So I basically stopped eating pretty much everything and then reintroduces what I didn't think had tyramines one product at a time to see if that gave me a headache the next day. So that was about a year long process during which I could see the migraines reducing. Today at 68 I rarely if ever get them, like I can't remember my last one. But also I can't remember my last bagel, or my last taste of swiss cheese. Oh well, better to be healthy. I don't know if tyramines effect ocular migraines as they do the ones further up in the head but also I would definitely check with your ophthalmologist about the pressure of googles.

It depends on the shape of your face, there is no set answer.
Vanquishers easily stick to my face comfortably without the strap, this is a good test when picking goggles. I have a small face, some of the larger comfort style goggles like the Biofuse don't fit as well even though they are designed for comfort.

I like Speedo Vanquishers and the generic “all look the same” googles on Amazon. The vanquishers fit tighter in my eye socket while the generics are wider and have silicone. Both come with extra nose pieces to make them wider. Not sure how wide the straps go but my head isn’t that small and I have extra length on the strap.
Both are comfortable to me, but everyone is different.

Speedo Biofuse is the standard big comfy goggle for fitness swimming.
