It’s an amphibious exploration vehicle

u/Aggravating_Speed665 1d ago

Look, guys, this car was built for this, okay?

It's got air intake valves.

This is precision British land- to-sea craftsmanship at work.

If you don't go fast enough

5

u/bassistciaran 1d ago

All terrain vehicle

A finisher car

u/kharnynb 1d ago

Did they get the jetski trailer out too?i bet it was a jetski trailer

33

u/Biszkopt87565 1d ago

Yes, he had jetski trailer

8

u/Reasonable-Nebula-49 1d ago

It was actually launching something?

11

u/Spretzur 1d ago

No, he parked it there so he could go creep on some underage girls on a pontoon boat.

Nothing wrong with that, I think that's still fine. That's not just a car, though. It's a lifestyle. A European sports utility vehicle. A wonderful machine. One could use it to traverse the Serengeti of their life.

It's not a starter car - it's a finisher car, a transporter of gods.

A golden god.

Classic BMW owner parking somewhere they’re not allowed to park

1

u/donatecrypto4pets 20h ago

They had the turn signal on, and lost track of what else to do.

4

u/DazingF1 1d ago

Through the magic of insurance the money is still gone?

1

u/TshirtMafia 21h ago

The irony is that he was already underwater.

12

u/expathdoc 1d ago

Who’s the U-Boat Commander?

2

u/rubbersidedown7 20h ago

Too far down.

17

u/NxPat 1d ago

I don’t think CPR is going to bring back that $1,000 key fob.

3

u/tthrivi 1d ago

Should have paid the extra subscription fee for the water floatees

7

u/KoalaDeluxe 1d ago

So that's what the W stands for!

Brake Mid-Water

4

u/i-come 1d ago

I guess he didn't pay his extra monthly amphibious costs

4

u/Handyr 1d ago

As if they don’t depreciate fast enough.

1

u/ParcelPosted 1d ago

It is worth more now because of this publicity.

3

u/ElFuckito 1d ago

3

u/anexplorer2479 1d ago

In Michael’s defence : Car said to take right then and there only.

"In the drink driving"

2

u/Ivebeenfurthereven 1d ago

BMW with a front grille that looks like a beaver craves the water, makes sense

2

u/rapedbyawookiee 1d ago

Owner just found out how much brake pads cost

2

u/J3r1ch8 1d ago

"Hello, i'm mister myparentwererich and i'm stupid, but rich too"

This kind of person are going to explain to you what sucess is and not able to drive a f*cking car.

No hate, eat the rich.

2

u/PilotKnob 18h ago

It’ll be on Facebook Marketplace next week with a salvage title and the title “Was totaled for a small scratch on the rear bumper.”

2

u/ArmouredArmadillo 17h ago

It is so damn ugly that it should've stayed underwater.

3

u/lessni 1d ago

you can't park there, mate!

(sorry, just had to do it).

2

u/amraohs 1d ago

Navigation said turn right....

1

u/realrichieporter 1d ago

Is that good? 😳🤔

1

u/NedRed77 1d ago

Well we don’t have to look at the ugly motherfucker anymore. So that’s a positive.

1

u/OkieBobbie 1d ago

That’s not its normal habitat.

1

u/joost00719 1d ago

BMW in de water

1

u/frohstr 1d ago

Was the driver underwater on his loan?

1

u/Warm2roam 1d ago

Saddest part is thrs no question it was fully deserved

1

u/Aggressive-Jacket384 1d ago

Must be the water

1

u/Aptosauras 1d ago

Cars used to have this lever between the front seats that you pulled and the rear brakes would lock.

I wonder what happened to that.

u/thaddeusduncan 1d ago

Michael Scott

u/nhp890 9h ago

Michał Szkot

1

u/Sirosim_Celojuma 1d ago

How? How did thjs happen? My guess is that the boat it was hauling was heavy, the ramp was steep, and the weight of everything just slipped in. I say this because that car will put itself in park if the driver gets out. The other possibility is the driver backed into the water intentionally, but that's harder to believe.

1

u/RedditCollabs 1d ago

This makes me happy

u/Evilkymonkey_1977 1d ago

BMW - Boat Motor Works

1

u/DJEvillincoln 22h ago

This thing is so common in my area that it might as well be a Civic.

I literally call it a boat because it's so huge.

1

u/mr_woodles123 22h ago

I swear they got daniella westbrook in on the design for that one.

1

u/QuickrobobroTheREAL2 22h ago

boat in the water, looks fine to me

1

u/Korgon213 21h ago

Didn’t use a turn signal either

1

u/ThisDriverX7 21h ago

One super large bag of rice should fix it right up. It’ll still be ugly tho

1

u/OldJaunty 21h ago

Who’s the UBoat captain?

1

u/YellowOnline 21h ago

I know nothing about cars - I don't even have a driver's license - so forgive me this question: can it still be saved if the motor wasn't submerged? It's not salt water either, so maybe if you really, really dry it well ... ?

1

u/chuckop 21h ago

Risky Business: “[thick Chicago accent] Who’s the U-boat commander?”

1

u/New_Breadfruit8692 21h ago

I doubt that will be salvageable. Too many sensors and systems and total dismantle, cleaning and reassembly, no way to economically bring it back.

1

u/bedwars_player 20h ago

that doesn't look expensive, that looks like the only way i'll ever be able to afford a 7 series

1

u/ChimkenNuggs 20h ago

A boat in it’s natural habitat

1

u/GampaR53 19h ago

I thought it was only the series 8 that could do that.

1

u/Technical-Boot-2716 19h ago

you know you're competing for the smallest dick when...

1

u/s13n1 19h ago

Was tailgating a boat

1

u/Speedhabit 18h ago

That’s not gonna be good for the computer

1

u/reditusername39479 18h ago

How did it end up in there

1

u/gbarch71 17h ago

“Who’s the U-Boat captain?”

1

u/Tuques 17h ago

Dude will just go buy another with his pocket money

1

u/TomaatoOrTomahto 16h ago

Who’s the U-boat Commander?

1

u/TheStax84 16h ago

I thought this was r/magnetfishing for a second

1

u/Cufantce 12h ago

Can't park there mate

1

u/Mahariri 7h ago

Whale of a car...

1

u/National-Property-43 6h ago

Someone call matt Armstrong

0

u/brtmns123 1d ago

Oi you can't park there mate

0

u/pope-burban-II 7h ago

This makes me genuinely happy

1

u/Biszkopt87565 7h ago

Why? Are you jealous that someone can afford expensive car?

1

u/pope-burban-II 5h ago

No, it’s a bland slab of boredom on wheels.

1

u/Biszkopt87565 4h ago

It’s a luxury car. It supposed to be comfortable and luxurious, not sporty like some m3

1

u/pope-burban-II 2h ago

I don’t mean sporty. It just lacks character or anything interesting

0

u/CosmosInSummer 2h ago

This post makes me unreasonably happy.
