Discussion Guys, I Might Be Onto Something.
So, as many of you are aware Aaron Ehasz has been accused of misogyny against his female employees (which he of course denied).
Throughout Arc 2, the show never acknowledges that the elves and dragons are just as (if not more) bad than the humans. On the contrary, the show goes out of its way to paint them in a more virtuous light, where they're actions are justified and they can do no wrong. And gets very preachy about forgiveness is always the right way to go, and wanting criminals to pay for their crimes is wrong. Like how Avizandum has been hunting humans for sport for 300 years and it's portrayed as a noble deed, but when humans finally rise up and give him his comeuppance is portrayed as a tragedy. Hell, Ezran defends Avizandum killing many humans including his mother.
What if the reason the show got very preachy is because Ehasz is a shitty person behind the scenes and is trying to implant into the minds of the audience to forgive and support him and everything no matter how many bad choices he makes. "Support his kickstarter because if you don't you're a terrible person and you should feel ashamed". "Call him out and your a evil bastard".
Although this is just speculation, I suspect I'm not far off.

Considering how he's got himself yelled at in both this very sub and on Twitter for being relatively shitty, this wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Where does this piece of information about Avizandum hunting humans for sport come from?

A short story on Wonderstorm's website titled "All Storms End" and Rex igneous from ep 8 or 9 of season 4.

Just to add, here's the relevant section:
"She sighed, remembering. Rex had once accused Avizandum of tormenting humans as if they were ants—and she could not deny that he had enjoyed his work at times, reveled in his victories, and left the battered remains of human armies in his wake as tribute to his triumphs."

Also the arch dragon Rex Ignatius said something similar in the show.

Let me get this straight, you think that someone is using a children's show, to brainwash the masses into believing that it's okay to be mysoginstic?
If we run with this, why wouldn't he just have a misogynistic character who doesn't get called out or face the consequences for their actions?
Also, if he's trying to implant the idea that bad people shouldn't be punished, then why would he have every bad person die in a brutal way? Karim was crushed, Sol Regem choked and burned alive, Khessa was vaporized, and Finnigrin was thrown into the mouth of a water monster. The majority of bad people on the show end up dying.
I'm guessing this is satire, but if it's not, it's a really dumb theory and I have no clue how you came to this conclusion.
