If they were gonna use it to add complexity to the wars sure, but if all we’re gonna get is a restating of Aanya’s story about how evil humans were in that universe then I wouldn’t much care for it.

It would probably be lightly touched in the orphan queen show/movie that they want to make

I think that they should have focused on what was going on with Aaravos. Instead they kept advertising these spin off ideas and they used static drawings instead of 3D models. I didn't find the idea very exciting.

I still find it silly how all the magic was somehow "drained" from the western half of the continent given how wide the number of ingredients a dark mage can use is. Yea, you can kill magic animals but you can also use parts or excretions (horns and snot), dried plants or general discards (flower petals, snake skins, feathers), even "non-magical" creatures work like the deer and grasshoppers.

You're telling me that kingdoms have fought for farmland and grazing grounds throughout all of human history but nobody thought "let's make a farm for ingredients?"
