Discussion Ezran is not hypocrite

Hot take

I don’t think that Ezran is a hypocrite. People will argue that he is a hypocrite because he forgives Zubeia, even though she was the one who sent the assassin after him and his father, the king. However, Zubeia didn't actually kill the king; it was Runaan who did that.

She is just as involved in Harrow's death as Runaan is, as without her orders there would be no assassination attempt in the first place..

And yet, emotions aren't logical. Ezran was looking at the man he was told killed his father.

Have you seen The Avengers? Wanda tells Tony Stark that it was HIS bombs dropped on her city. It was HIS name.

Runaan was the one Ezran saw as they escaped the city. Runaan is Ezran's boogeyman. It was easy for him to ask for peace and forgiveness from everyone else, because their hands weren't stained in his father's blood.

Me personally... I think I'd be even more irrational the first time I saw the person that killed my only living parent.

 emotions aren't logical

Ok? That doesn’t make him any less hypocritical.

Quote me where I said it didn't.

Ok, if you want to play that game, did anyone here say emotions were logical?

Like, what’s the relevance here, buddy? OP was arguing that Ezran is not hypocritical because Runaan was the one who killed Harrow and not Zubeia, the person you’re responding to said  Zubeia is just as responsible since she did give the order, and your response is “well, emotions aren’t logical.”

So…what’s the contribution here? That you can make the most obvious definitional distinction that changes absolutely nothing about what’s being discussed?

Not playing a game, I just know how to keep myself on topic and only engage with folks when it amuses me. You don't seem amusing. You seem tedious. 👍🏾🤞🏾✌🏾

Take care.

I just know how to keep myself on topic

You literally admitted to switching topics from hypocrisy to whether emotions are logical. If making trivial, useless points then fleeing when question is your idea of amusement, who am I to judge?
