Discussion If the Startouch Elf council were to face karmic justice for their actions, what would you like it to be?
I have said this a few times, but I like to see them get killed by Aaravos with a Star Devourer dragon. Particularly if said dragon is a friend of Leola who also wanted justice for her unwarranted and needless death.

If they make the startouch council get killed by Aaravos, they have to be really careful that it isn’t protrayed as a bad thing.
That’s why I’d love for the heroes at at least get involved. I want them to recognize the potential threat they pose and actively be trying to work against them. That way we have the side that the audience is supposed to see as “good” trying to bring them down as well, which will help the portrayal of their downfall.

Hmm good question! I’m not sure. I want to know what exactly the Cosmic Order is, how it was broken, and what the consequences of that are, so I’d want them around at least long enough to explain that. I’d want them to be called out for their actions before facing their fate too (by someone other than Aaravos, preferably one of the heroes like Callum, to challenge their perspective of Aaravos). I want to see the apocalyptic consequences of breaking the Cosmic Order, not just the letdown that was inverting the Moon Nexus, and I want those consequences to be at least partially their fault.
I’m in favor of at least some of them being consumed by a Star Devourer dragon (or Aaravos becoming a Star Devourer dragon), but I also wouldn’t be opposed to at least one of them feeling remorse for their actions and helping to save the universe, whether or not they survive.

Strip them of their Star-magic. Get them to feel the human experience.

THEY ARE THE KARMA.
Also why would they face justioce for ?
The only crime they commited was turning a child into a star, yeah very bad move and started the whole Aaravos situation, but they're kindda mythological gods above the laws, we shouldn't apply human morals on them.
They had good reason to forbid that, they know better they lived for millenias, probably created the world and saw the rise and fall of empire, they might even transcend time itself.
Look giving magic to human, was A BAD IDEA.
They were not ready for it, they were not meant for it, and as a species/civilisation it was going to end badly.
I mean even if apparently the first form of human magic was given to them by Aaravos daughter and the unicorns, in the form of draconic rune and primal stone. (which might have worked and be fine).
They still went out of their way to use dark magic as soon as Aaravos presented it to them, and used it to kill the entire species of unicorns and probbaly try to slaughter all magical being, probably including elves and dragons.
And look at that, it's exactly what they did after being banished, they destroyed half of the known world magic, burning it bits by bits to gain more power, for mage's wars.
Their main crime was to let Aaravos live.
And let's be real, if they killed him and spared his daughter she would've continued and started her revenge plot to overthrow the entire cosmology and universe.
And i am not sure Leola would be happy to kill the rest of her kind, even if they punished her for her crime, which we, as human, consider as unfair.
But let it be clear, no matter how sexy and fabulous he is, Aaravos is a villain, he's wrong, he gave dark magic to human, caused entire war, possibly a couple of genocide, plotted the death and torutre of many people/dragon and elves and just for a petty revenge instead of attacking the one he should blame for his daughter death he manipulate the lesser being and watch them fight like little ants on the ground.
He's the equivalent of lucifer in this world, just because we can empathise with his tragic backstory doesn't mean he's a good guy or right.

Make them human.
