Announcement [Meta] The State of TheDragonPrince
Please take the short poll here regarding the state of submissions on the subreddit
I promised this a while ago, so here it is. Users have raised concern regarding the amount and type of content prevalent on the subreddit as of late. I know people feel strongly about the subject, so I think it's important to get your thoughts on the matter.
Is there too much fan art? Not enough discussion? Not enough fan art? TOo much discussion? Whatever your thoughts are, let us know here. Feel free to give any thoughts on the the rules, moderation, or anything else that may come to mind.

I like to see art posted here by the person who created it. I'm a grown woman who knows how to use deviantART, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Google; there's no need to fill up the subreddit with things that are easy to find elsewhere. Even with credit to the original source, or permission, posting someone else's work somewhere is gauche and in fact on most other subreddits it's not even allowed.
If you're an artist, cool, post your TDP stuff! If you're not, that's fine, you don't have to leave or anything but there are other ways for you to contribute. Start discussion posts, upvote people's fanart, etc. I've noticed that even when an original artist is clearly labelled and linked, some people don't pay attention to that and assume whoever posted the art is the one who created it, and we want to avoid confusion like that!
