Did anyone else get LotR vibes from the final battle? To me Ezran felt like Gandalf the White, leaving before the battle starts to get backup :D

When Amaya and Janai exchanged smiles:

Amaya: Never thought I'd be fighting side by side with an elf.

Janai: What about side by side with a friend?

Amaya: Aye. I could do that.

lmao

I love that this would be done in sign language so it's a deep cut allusion to LOTR for people who don't know ASL lol

Such a missed opportunity by the writers!!

The writers hinted at them possibly being in a relationship. They hold hands in the final scene.

Eh, perhaps in a future season?

I felt like Aanya was Eomer riding in at the battle of helms deep.

Def some “Forth, Eorlingas! ” vibes from the cavalry just plowing down troops like that

Ezran: Callum mage stands alone.

Aanya: Not alone.

100% my first thought too when I saw only 1 rider, like when Eomer showed up then they reveal the huge army reinforcement

Yes!! Completely agree. Omg. When the dragons came I was like, yaaaas the eagles are here! And when Aanya came with Corvus and the others was like when Éomer arrived! So bad ass.

You mean a small improvised army fighting in front of a dragon lair? Def some Hobbit vibes there too haha

Yes thank you for saying this I felt the same thing. At helms deep when the sun rises and Gandalf storms in

Personally I was reminded of Dragon Age.

The whole series is very Dragon Age-y. Lots of the garb and architecture seems straight out of Thedas

I got Hobbit battle of the five armies vibes

First thing I thought was it's the Rohirrin
