Not gonna lie I was hoping there would be a flash-forward at the end and then it would set up future seasons, but I'm still ecstatic with what we got

I’m positive that we’ll get a time skip after season 4. We need to see an older King Ezran and an older Zym. Everything that’s happened since season 1 took place over the course of like 2 or 3 months. We can’t get more development for all of the characters without a time skip

I’m pretty sure it was only 3 weeks - each season was a week

I rewatched all the episodes this week and I thought that at first. But there should no way that everyone could travel across the continent multiple times in just 3 weeks. Plus Commander Gren was locked up in Viren’s lair for so long that he grew a beard. And then enough time passed for Soren to grow a beard this season. So it has to have been at least 2 months. I think it just seems like it’s been shorter because they skip a lot of stuff offscreen. I might be wrong though lol

Soren grew some scruff. That was a few days timeskip tops.

Aarvos's cocoon conveniently means they can skip any amount of time without making the villain look like a lazy bum, because they can just say he was in the cocoon the whole time.
