freedom? after he got the power from zym, he probably got enough energy to transport out via the cocoon at the end.

what he does after, who knows? we'll probably get more backstory on why he became a prisoner / what he wants.

Yeah but what does he want besides that? World domination? He really seemed keen on making Viren take over Xadia, but we can't know what kind of 4D chess Aaravos is playing. Also I'm almost 100 positive that Aaravos also created that first wand that the original dark mage had and that he was the one that gave humans dark magic, but whyy?

To Dethrone Dragon's and lesser elves is my guess. He looks to be the kind of guy that believes arrogance should be earned.

I'm guessing he wants to tear down the dragon-led heirarchy - probably by propping up humans, who elves and dragons have always stepped on.

He wants to do all kind of new magics.
Dragons noped him out of reality for it.
He just wants to get back and see what happens if you mix all the magics with human.
It will probably destroy the fabric of reality, but maybe not!

Freedom for starters, and after that probably some form of world domination, where he knocks down all the arrogant people he has a grudge against, probably because he thinks that he himself is the only one to have earned the right to be so arrogant.
