I'm just watching this now and half way through second series. I get that it's a TV show but if it's based on real life then why wasn't she reported to child services? Maybe things work differently in the US but the police would be checking her hard drive in the UK. She's actually putting me off watching the rest. She messes up every single episode but does the same stuff in the next. It's just weird imo

she’s overbearing and manipulative not beating and starving her children… geez the first instinct is always to get the government to save the day isn’t it

I don't know about the US government but our one in the UK couldn't piss into a lake without spraying the pebbles

Also from the uk and think it’s crazy you think our social care is that strict.. they don’t even have the resources to take in kids from people who really shouldn’t be caring for them.
