Beverly

I'm just watching this now and half way through second series. I get that it's a TV show but if it's based on real life then why wasn't she reported to child services? Maybe things work differently in the US but the police would be checking her hard drive in the UK. She's actually putting me off watching the rest. She messes up every single episode but does the same stuff in the next. It's just weird imo

Keep in mind... it's set in the 80s... a much different time than today

Yeah even now it’s not the same, there is not enough resources, parents can beat their kids and them not get taken away.
