Question Is there any religions in avatar
We did see yue’s parents praying to tui and la also we do know the air nomads we’re very spiritual

Per the books, the avatar is seen as a religious head to some folks. There are times when, faced with Kyoshi being terrifying, people pray to Avatar Yangchen to save them. (Not Kuruk bc apparently the Avatar universe collectively decided he sucks)
I would liken most folks to be something like Buddhists or Shamanists. Spiritual, can cite specific beings (which actually exist in this world), but overall not really worshipping as much as showing respect/deterrence.

I am now just picturing Yangchen appearing and going
“No, bad Kyoshi. Go sit in your corner and think about what you’ve done”

It’s somewhat funny you say that as literally the first thing Kyoshi thought of when she met Yangchen for the first time was mistake Yangchen for her mother.
