Discussion Kind of crazy how Azula slices through stone or clay bricks with her fire. Does firebending normally have that much kinetic force behind them?
I can understand something like Ozai concentrating his fire explosively to break Aang's stone shell, Jeong Jeong raising 30 foot firewalls that push back huge metal fire nation tanks that probably weigh at least a ton, but all these feats were done through the power of the comet. I'm just surprised how casual this part is.

Cosplay Meet Zuko, my rescue/foster cat!
I rescue cats in Brazil with Sporotrichosis, a really aggressive fungal disease that basically eats the animals alive. Zuko is one my rescues and he is now cured! Can you guess why he got his name?
EDIT: Zuko got to the frontpage! I would like to use this opportunity to say that my rescue work is completely volunteer. If you want to help it, a 1$ would already make a lot of difference to me and my rescues! You can help us through wise or paypal!

Discussion How would the series have changed if Azula was banished and joined the team avatar instead of Zuko?
Let's imagine that, in this hypothetical alternate universe, Azula failed Ozai terribly as a child, so she was banished from the Fire Nation (while Zuko remained). She was sent with Iroh to hunt down the Avatar.
Both Iroh and Azula bonded during this time, and Iroh decided to try to change Azula just as he did with Zuko in the main universe. How will things change here? What will Azula's redemption look like? Do you think Azula will be able to abandon her obsession with the Avatar and her desire to return to the Fire Nation like Zuko did? Will she eventually join Team Avatar? What would her dynamic be like with Sokka, Katara, Toph, and Aang?
Remember that Zuko remained with Ozai in this universe, so he will eventually be sent to hunt down Team Avatar. How will his character change in this scenario?

Discussion What's your most hated character in the entire franchise? (ATLA and LOK)
Mine's probably Prince Wu and Unalaq.

Website Made a family tree
Please tell me if I missed any connections or if I should add any other connections that won't connect to the main web. Also please make me aware if this link does not work.
P.S. I would have just downloaded the image and posted that, however without spending money, which I am not willing to do, the best quality Canva offers is not good enough to read some of the names.

Discussion What do you think of Zuko's fever, personally? Was it just a fever or something more?
When I watched this as a kid I immediately thought the fever came on because of Zuko's inner battle/turmoil came into a culmination.
I read some posts and comments talking about this, most people see it that way too.
But, now as an adult I've started to gain a new perspective. That maybe we just added some additional layers into this scene, because that's how we wanted to view it. In either case, that part doesn't really matter, we each choose for ourselves the story we want to see.
Without getting too much off topic. This notion, that I've had as younger, but now focused more on as an adult. Maybe Zuko was already sick and with fever; his rage and "never giving up", all the pain inside him just kept him going, even when he was ready fall on the ground. Now that he's finally let go of all of that, he collapses to the ground.
Both interpretations work in this scene, there could be more ways to interpret, so please tell me if you have them. But, the latter one I talked about imo adds a lot more emotional weight to the situation; than just Zuko feeling the physical effects of his inner battle.
But, one doesn't need to exclude the other. Tell me how do you view this scene? Is it Zuko letting go of rage and feeling effects of ongoing fever, or is it something more? Something spiritual?

Discussion Jeremy Zuckerman is an underrated genius
Very few soundtracks have ever moved me to tears the way the ATLA one does, particularly with songs like this. They’re just so atmospheric and ethereal, and really make you feel like you’re in another world

Question Is there an Aang X Azula fanfic ignoring Korra and the comics out there ?
The question in the title, as I hate Korra and the comics (especially Zuko's story arc with the search and everything related to Ursa).

Discussion Am I dumb for just realizing the connection of her name being AZULa and her producing a BLUE flame when she firebends?
Or am I dumb for making this connection in the first place?

Discussion If ATLA was written like TLoK
Admiral Zhao would have randomly shown up alive in the second to last episode before the series finale and helped Aang learn firebending or some shit like that. Or maybe Long Feng would have randomly popped up and taught Toph always to be true to herself while giving Team Avatar intelligence on the Fire Nation's plans.

Discussion Long feng lost against Azula is because he lacked the drive to fight for power
When azula makes her move and takes over ba sing se, she not only calls long feng out on being a sneaking spider-snake that would rather get others to do his dirty work rather than risk failure himself; his only real fight he gets no-diffed and taken out without issue by appa. Then after finally making his biggest move for power azula calls him out in front of his own men, forcing him into a situation where he has to fight for power on his ow....then he folds and surrenders without even trying. Azula's speech felt like she was goading him into making a move, maybe she was giving him a chance to die like a man or something, but when he folded without even trying she sounded disappointed with his lack of resolve or drive.
We all know azula, if the roles were reversed, would have immediately fought long feng, tooth and nail, for power because she has always been driven by ambition. That was the fundamental difference and why the Dai lee refused to move, they Needed confirmation that long feng was driven and strong enough to be worthy of following.

Question Hypothetically…
If Aang didn’t die in The Avatar State but still died and got revived by Katara, would another Avatar be in the world or would Aang be the only one?

Discussion What if the entire Gaang had fought Ozai together, like Toph said in Part 1 of the Sozin's Comet finale?
Katara said to Aang that he doesn't have to do it alone. This was soon after Zuko told the Gaang about Sozin's Comet and Aang was panicking. After Katara, Toph said "If we all fight the Fire Lord together, we got a shot at taking him down" if I remember correctly.
