Everything you need to know about the event, all in one place. A lot of these pieces will be verified by the Silph Research Group, so throughout the post we'll use the formatting:

Also note that (s) will be used for species whose shiny form is available, and (s?) for new shinies that we haven't seen yet.

Can you solo shadow regirock?

Pokébattler says in neutral weather, without friend boost or party power and with level 50 counters 3.94 trainers are needed.

It doesn't always perfetctly give you totals for shadow mons. You don't need 3.94 trainers with level 50 counters.

You can duo it, but it's a hard duo.

The 3.94 is without any boosts! Also without the use of gems.

I'm exceptionally bad at raids anyway. So I actually don't know what to use gems for haha

Gems are used in (most) shadow raids, and currently all legendary shadow raids.

At 50% - 60% health or so the boss enrages and starts taking a lot less damage, and doing more damage, The two ways to stop get out of enraged state:

- Get boss to 10-15% health remaining

- Use 8 purified gems to remove enraged mode. Note that one person can use at most 5, so you can't do this in solo attempts
