Megathread - Event Season of Tales of Transformation Wild Spawns Megathread
Last updated: 12th Sept 05:00 UTC
Let's work out which Pokemon are going to be available in the wild during the new season! You'll start seeing new spawns at 10:00 am local time on September 2.
We'll split up the list between hemispheres. When a spawn is first reported, it will only be added to the hemisphere the report came from until it's confirmed in the other. Since the southern hemisphere gets an early start, the list will look very skewed at first, but will balance out as we progress.

Oddly I just caught a Pink Shellos in Wellington NZ, should be blue. Is this supposed to happen?
Edit: Seems that this was a temporary oopsie, I now see blue Shellos

They did say in the announcement...
"Starting with Tales of Transformation, Pokémon will appear in different areas across the world, based on their natural habitat and PokéDex entry."
...so maybe some regionals are switching up?

But Shellos and Gastrodon are regionals based on the Eastern Side and Western Side in the world, not just in Pokemon Go. Pink is West Sea, while Blue is East Sea. So Niantic must have screwed up for Shellos

the cynic in me thinks that sounds an awful lot like "some pokemon that weren't regional spawns previously are about to become regional spawns" but I really hope I'm wrong on that 😬

It's not fixed, as Blue Shellos are still spawning in the UK in an area that should have Pink Shellos

Wellington is on the south west coast, so I guess that's west enough for this Shellos haha

NE United States. I saw at least two yesterday, so there’s a chance it might be either some weird coincidence or a rare spawn. Good luck!

Nice! So there’s a good chance I can find one. I saw a few in the last weeks of the last season but couldn’t find one I wanted to keep. Hopefully I can use the tracker to hunt them.

Are mega eggs spawning anymore frequently than normal? With 4 different bosses if the spawn rate isn’t higher it seems like it might be tricky to find the exact mega you want?

Last weeks there pretty much has been zero raids outside of raid hours. Not even possible to use a daily raid pass unless going properly out of your way. I used it on a Chimecho yesterday to progress the XP timed research. Game is int a horrible state atm.

In the U.S., seen oshawott, Numel, Shuppet, tepig. That’s all that I remember that isn’t Kanto
Edit: Forgot I also found sudowoodo and greedent

Seen in Florianópolis, Brazil:
In nests: Misdreavus, Spritzee.
Regionals: Lunatone, Maractus.
Other: Bergmite, Buneary, Castform (Rainy)*, Chimchar, Gothita, Lechonk, Lillipup, Mareep, Nymble, Sewaddle, Slakoth, Smoliv, Wooper (Normal).
* When i saw it, the weather was windy in that hour and also in the previous hour.

Found a Mawile in the wild. Northern Hemisphere, semi-rural town that I think is considered a grassy area.
I have also seen Doduo appear on my radar, doesn't seem to be part of the Kanto event as I haven't actually encountered it, as well as Cranidos, Fuecoco, Chikorita, Gastrodon, and Snover. I have seen an Oddish, so I assume Ditto spawns are a go.
Armaldo, Chimecho, and Bidoof all spawned from my Daily Incense tonight.
Nests haven't migrated yet. Venipede and Minccino are still in the previous nests that I pass by most days.
EDIT 09/04: Numel and Lickitung spotted in the wild. I have also seen Magneton, Makuhita, Patrat, Rattata (Kanto), Glameow, and Whismur (at least on radar)
EDIT 09/05: Hippopotas, Dunsparce, and Furfrou all spotted in the wild with no incense. Nosepass, Pikipek, Swablu, and Teddiursa all spotted as well. Also picked up a Ursaring on incense. Pinsir appearing on radar, does not appear to be event related.
EDIT 09/06: Burmy (Grassy) and Zubat spotted up in a wooded/mountainous area. Spotted Cubone and Sheldon as well in a field, and Sudowoodo at a park. Don't think Cubone is part of the Kanto event since it's the first one I've seen.

Can corroborate many of your findings.
Oddish are nesting near me i think, and i got several dittos from them.
Caught doduo, Cubone and pinsir after the event.

Magikarp, Pidgey, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Abra, Gastly, Chansey, and Weedle are all part of the Kanto event, hence why you're seeing a ton of them spawning everywhere (especially Karp and Slowpoke away from water). Everything else seems to be regular pool spawns.

Pretty extensive list in my other comment, but Floragato, Ampharos, Absol, Nidoqueen, and as reported elsewhere, Dodrio all popped up in the wild while I ran my DAI (all wild spawns, not incense captures). Snorlax is still spawning after the event. Dedenne and Togedemaru also wild spawning. Northern Hemisphere

I had been running Jynx alerts since they added them and just this week after the season change I finally got some wild alerts, must be something.
Also Blue shellos have started spawning now (Madrid, Spain) not sure if they swapped hemispheres, or if they no longer are split by the meridian and now we're part of the blue shellos group. And Gastrodon also spawned, first time seeing a wild one

Kanto celebration is happening and thus the spawn pool is heavily event-oriented. These megathreads never take spawns during events into consideration.

This season starts off with Kanto Celebration, so we won’t have a good picture of seasonal spawns until 7 September.
Previous seasons typically gave us 1 or 2 days before the first event.
